I love Sutton Foster.....but I saw Patina in Sister Act a couple of weeks ago and I thought she was fantastic. If I were voting....my vote would go to Patina. What does everyone else think???

Totally Sutton. Hands down.
I wish more than anything that Patina will win but I'm not holding my breath..sucks as I am no fan of Sutton's
I do think Foster seems to have the advantage as of now. Sister Act never really seemed to take off the way Anything Goes did, even though it's doing quite well.
I WANT Patina to win. I think it's 50/50 at this point. We'll see how the Outer Critics and Drama Desks go.
Gotta give it to Sutton based on the fact that her dancing was tremendous. I thought they were both excellent.

Sutton Foster based on everything!

Should be an easy win for Sutton. She has the reviews, the fanfare, and the NYTimes to boot on her side.
Team Patina, here. She's giving a much better performance than Sutton, though Sutton's is still good. Patina is making her debut in an incredible role and she's doing an amazing job. Hopefully the Tony's will welcome new talent rather than "re-awarding" someone who's already been recognized.
Haven't seen Sutton, but when I saw Patina I thought she was good but didn't think SISTER ACT was as great as it could have been, I found the book too lacking and I think it eventually hurts Miller who is giving a fantastic star-making performance (very much worth of a nomination) but whose role I don't think soars the way I know Reno Sweeney does. Sutton Foster also has all the critical support she needs in a beloved production of a beloved show, she has also been nominated tons of times since she won, I think it's her year. Wouldn't be mad if Miller won though, like I said she's giving a star-making performance which might be enough to sway voters.
While it seems like Sutton has the edge right now, something tells me Patina will win because the Tonys like to award newcomers it seems.

Finally saw Sister Act today and I would love to see her win.
Although I must say it's nice to see Sutton tackle on a much different role than she has been playing.
Patti LuPone playing Patti LuPone in "Patti LuPone Gypsy"
All going to plan I am going to see both in June. I will reserve my judgement til then. However from what I have seen and heard from both so far, I am hoping Patina.
Sutton. Hands down. No questions asked. :)
When I saw the nominations I thought Patina would be the one. I'm not saying whether or not it's deserved but the Tony Awards often go to newcomers making a big splash and SA got a plateful of nominations that it probably won't win. Sutton's already won one (when she was a newcomer making a big splash in "Millie") and voters may think her best is still yet to come because she's been so consistent over the past decade.
Every actress in that category is terrific so it's a tough choice.
I think Patina will most likely upset just because Sister Act probably won't win anything else and Anything goes will probably win revival.
it truly is a toss up. On one hand Sutton gets nominated for just about everything she's in, and has a good chance of taking this one home.
On the other hand we have Patina making her broadway debut in a flashy leading role. The voters have previously gone for the big debut performance (Paulo Szot)
I think it's time for Sutton to win again. She's been nominated four times (including this one) since she won in 2002 and she's really shocked us all with this performance. As much as I'd love to see Patina win, I think Sutton's got this one.
If every I wanted a tie, this would be the year. tough call.
Actually wicked1492, she has been nominated 5 times including this one. (Millie, Little Women, Chaperone, Shrek, Anything Goes). And she is going to win again!
It's gonna be Sutton.
