The power of Patrick Wilson barely clothed.

I thought the same thing. After the week we've had, I don't think my heart could have taken it.

Thought the exact same! CHANGE THIS! My Patrick must come back to Broadway soon and not presumed dead!

Great long Collder interview with Wilson in which he says he has more than just an itch to come back to Broadway.
I’d love to see him back on stage. He is a fine actor and the definitive Joe, in my opinion. Everyone else plays him too mean. His Joe was so earnest and lost, he really breaks my heart every time I watch Angels in America.

Interestingly enough, in BroadwayWorld's sharing of the headline, they mention the following:
"Wilson made his Broadway debut in The Full Monty (2000), portraying Jerry Lukowski."
Actually, his Broadway debut was in The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm a year earlier.
"His performance in Little Children earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor."
Jackie Earle Haley was the Best Supporting Actor nominee for that film, not Wilson.

Taking nothing away from Wilson's excellent performance, you must not have seen David Marshall Grant or Bill Heck.
I'm glad to have seen Patrick in both Carousel and The Cider House Rules. His star quality was obvious.

Is he not doing The Lost Boys? I thought he was?

He's only producing.
I saw him in the Starbucks once over by the Friedman Theatre in NYC and he turned around and looked straight at me! So handsome! One of my favorite performances besides Joe Pitt in Angels in America for HBO was Tommy in Brigadoon at NY City Center.

I saw the tape of David at the library and Bill I saw live several times. Too angry for me!

When he introduced The Music Man at the Tonys in 2022, I remember thinking right then and there that, if the production were to continue after Jackman and Foster left, Wilson had the perfect charm and and the right presence needed for Harold Hill; it's kind of a shame that didn't happen, if only for yet another missed opportunity to get him back onstage. Hopefully something materializes for him in the near future.

Wasn't he attached to the 'Mystery of Edwin Drood' and 'Kiss Me Kate's revivals at roundabout? Or was that just dream casting?
