Pippin Revival Casting?

If my wishes were granted and there was a Pippin revival haha, who would you see casted? All I know is I love the idea of The Leading Player of being 2 people, if not maybe just one woman?

Stunt Casting- Justin Timberlake or Usher as The Leading Player

But I prefer a woman this time bec. I want a woman director too like Julie Taymor-oh.. What she can do with that imagination of her with this one!

Must a strong spirited woman for the Leading Player Role- very ambiguous too...

I definitely DO NOT want Alan Cumming as the Leading Player (though I like him a lot) that's gonna be Cabaret part 2 for me.

I dont mind .. Andre Ward as the Leading Player... well he did this role already and I have his MAGIC TO DO version .... so if you guys are nice . I might send that song to nice people by e-mail (only would work on itunes)

I am dying to see a PIPPIN revival.. I dont know why they are reviving GODSPELL next year?

Oh.... with the right creative team.. this could work ! I am imagining some very visual staging and a la Cique du Soleil ....with a little reference to the Iraq War (instead of the Vietnam War) oh.. very political too.....I dont know if thats a good idea, though?

I know Testa probably could not dance the role, but nevertheless she'd be perfect!

The Leading Player should be a female with a buzz haircut... I am thinking of Stephanie J. Block and she'll be great too !

I actually don't think Pippin could have a healthy commercial run. The material is a bit dated. I saw it in Seattle last year and without Fosse's touch, the show is deeply flawed with a snoozer Act II.
