I love A Little Night Music's playbill. I like how the orange light contrasts the purple trees, yet the two colors kind of mix in the water
some stars would've been a nice touch.
It looks like the cover of a trashy airplane romance novel to me.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theater)
WHITE CHRISTMAS (Marriot Marquis Theater)
was White Christmas' playbill from last year that busy?? Seems a bit overdone.
Bumping because I'm curious as to whether or not STARRY MESSENGER, the new one with Broderick in teh lead, has a Playbill design...

The Starry Messenger didn't have the Playbill design. Just a little booklet with this artwork:

I haven't seen A View from the Bridge, but I have a playbill from a production (I think from the early nineties) and I don't like this new one. Maybe somebody who has seen or read the play will think differently, but I just don't like the sloppiness of this.
PRESENT LAUGHTER (American Airlines Theater)
Mountings at the Mainstage at The Vineyard have Playbils, right? This is me thinking out-loud, what with SCOTTSBORO BOYS coming in soon enough. Love to see that artwork!
Or one could just go to vineyardtheatre.com...
LimelightMike- The Vineyard does not usually have Playbills.
Didn't see this posted yet.
The Playbill for TIME STANDS STILL at MTC:

My computer is acting really weird, so I can't save or post the picture. Could someone else so that it shows up in the thread?
Thanks, jacobtsf!
Yeah. That. Blah. It looks like nobody thought about the Playbill cover until yesterday, when someone was like, "Crap, we open tomorrow and have nothing! Ummm...here!"
Seconded. That is DEFINITELY bland...
Thanks for the thoughts, guys. RE: The Vineyard - Am I to understand that they don't provide *anything* for their patrons noting cast, crew, musical numbers, etc.? I only ask because I collect and am hoping to add SCOTTSBORO to a binder.
Of course they do. They give you a program with all that info. But they are not official Playbills.
They are also oddly-sized (4.25x11), so if you plan to store them in a binder or something with your other Playbills, make sure it's big enough.

Love it! Christopher Walken aside, LOOPED is one of the shows I'm most excited about.
