King Kong is going into the Broadway."
Totally.
And it will be closed by the time Moulin Rouge is planning to move in.

Don't you think the Kerr is too intimate? It seats less than 1 thousand, and unless something big changes (Which I doubt) this production of Moulin Rouge seems to be putting spectacle over intimacy.
There's no chance in hell that it's going into the Walter Kerr.
the Kerr is way too small for that set

It needs a big house not only for the size of the set but also for the size of the budget. It would take years to recoup at the Kerr. The Winter Garden would be PERFECT.

The mezzanine overhang at the Hirschfeld obstructs the view above the proscenium for a largechunk of the orchestra. Just thinking in terms of good sightlines (since we know that the set plays a big role in this show), I'm leaning toward the Marquis as the best fit for this."
If the sightlines at the Hirschfeld are so bad, why was it considered a good fit for Phantom, which requires views of the proscenium and the ceiling?

In all fairness, the rear orchestra at the Majestic obstructs the top of the proscenium as well.
