I notice BroadwayWorld is prominently displaying the Pride flag.
Is platforming Harry Potter compatible with that?
Example from today.

Much as I loathe Rowling, it's a Broadway show. I think it's a bit much to ask a Broadway news outlet to just ignore said Broadway show.

Harry Potter, as a brand, isn't going anywhere. It’s deeply embedded in our culture. The HBO series is going to last at least seven seasons. Millions of being will be watching and discussing it.
JK Rowling is terrible and deeply unwell, but being upset about anything Harry Potter related will only cause suffering for yourself. Most people don’t care or know about her comments, despite the fact that she tweets about trans people all day, every day. It’s a total obsession.
The only thing you can do is not give it your time, money, or energy if it bothers you that much. Try to pay it no mind.

This site can report on it, sure, but actively promoting it? Hm. Take down the Pride flag. What does being an ally even mean anymore?

As I'm sure members of the LGBT community are involved in the production, yes.

I don’t see it lasting 7 seasons. Not because of Rowling but because you simply can’t strike lightening in a bottle twice and the audience will dwindle in favor of the films.

^ That's simply not true. There is huge interest and it's already been renewed for season 2. Every season only has 8 episodes though, so it's not a huge commitment. I guess they want to start an entire new generation of fans. Ive never read or watched any of those Child Wizard books, but I imagine they have to be quite good since this story has been relevant for 30 years.
Don't support her, JayZ. Simple. Don't judge the people who do as they are free to spend their money on anything they wish, and your energy is being wasted hating them. You cannot control other people and how they think. Millions of people don't care what you care about, and remembering that will make you far less miserable regarding this topic that you continue to bring up over and over and over again. Also, this is an entertainment website so I'm pretty sure they can celebrate the Rainbow Community and report the news.
