Promises, Promises rush- how early?

Anyone know how early people have been lining up for rush tickets for Promises, Promises? I know they give out $30 tickets, 2 per person, starting at 10am (12 on sundays). How many tickets do they have? What time is ok to get there and still get tickets?

I think if you show up by 9am you'll be fine. I went a few weeks ago and I was about 20th in line at that time and I got tickets

I got there around 11:45 last week, and they still had rush tickets.

Yes, they're in the rear mezz.

And for reference there were a TON of seats open in the rear mezz yesterday afternoon.

I heard about it from Sean Hayes at the stagedoor but wasn't sure what they were referring to.

I know there was a bunch of CRAZY ass people who during "Whoever you are" kept starting to clap loudly only to be "shhh-d" by others when the song wasn't even over. They did this a couple of times and it was RIDICULOUS.

I don't think that's why it seemed as if security escorted an elderly woman out of the theatre during act 2. Does anyone know what that was about?

Was this in the rear mezz too? I saw a bunch of people get up and leave during act 2 but wasn't sure what that was about.

I got to the theater a little before 2pm yesterday (Friday) and got 2 rush tickets (last row center mezz).

No success today. got there at 830am, and there were about four people in front of me. There were probably about thirty people there by 10am, and the very nasty box office worker told us that there was no rush. I'm fine if you aren't going to offer the rush, but why must you always look at us like we are the dregs of society?

I got to the box office at about 6:20 pm on Thursday and got a rush ticket for row E of the rear mezz.

I stopped by there today around 11am and the guy told me there weren't any rush tickets available, which I had guessed. I figured that they were all sold right when it opened. I am shocked to hear that they didn't give any at all, especially considering how many rear mezz seats I saw available on telecharge last night.

They didn't give any rush tickets Saturday (4-17) and had no show on Sunday. Was really hoping to see it this past weekend while in town, but not on this trip, it seems. Anyone know if the no-rush-on-Saturday situation has happened before for this show (/ongoing)?
