Congrats to you, Anthony, and to the rest of the cast/crew for such an awesome job. While I'm sure it's an honor just to be nominated, I really do think you deserve to win. (Perhaps my humble opinion is a bit bias, though. ^.~ )

Looking at the other nominees in the Song and Soundtrack category, if RENT does not win that is a travesty.
The ensemble award would be cool, but it may be difficult, based on the other nominees.

As you know, Anthony, I love this movie!
When I saw Tick Tick Boom last week, Julie Larson was there and it was truly a thrill and an honor to talk to her after the performance about what a great job she and everyone did in transfering Rent to the big screen.
Congratulations on the deserved nominations!

Congratulations, indeed. I will be watching the Golden Globe nominations myself. I would also like for you all to know that I have been doing my part to boost box office on the film. I've gone several times ('cause I never believed I'd actually get to see the OBC do the show!!), and I've taken several people with me (many of whom would not have gone but for my recommendation), and have made at least one new RENT-head.

Congrats on all the nominations..... and dont worry about the Golden Globes.. they arent that great anyways :) You have something way better than all the nominations in the world.. a loyal following of people who admire your work and who will faithfully carry the work to the next generations. I just fell in love with RENT in Novemeber and have already passed it along to my kid sister.Dont worry about its staying power. RENT will be around forever. It will never get old.

Congrats. I'm really glad Rent is getting the recognition it deserves. Everyone involved with rent deserves at least a nommination if not an award! I'm thinking oscars....... Rent better be up for an oscar!

I wouldn't count on any oscars, but I'm very happy that RENT is getting recognition from some form of awards at all. Pantsgirl... exactly what I think. Very well-articulated.
