I have a ticket for Thursday. Starting to think that isn't going to happen now. I'll be pretty annoyed as I had very limited choices to begin with, and now am going to have an even harder time. Here's hoping though...
"I know now that theatre saved my life." - Susan Stroman
The reason for the cancellation is completely understandable. Hopefully, these next two days will provide the creative team more time to tighten up the show before previews.
If anyone is Lotto'ing tonight, please report back! 20 tickets is not a lot, especially for a lotto. Hoping they'll sell the side orch too cause they're not for sale online.
"They're blaming the cancellation of the first preview on Con Ed? Wicked is across the street and isn't cancelling a show..."
The problems are east of Broadway. Wicked isn't affected.
As mattiek17 said, buildings in that area have had spotty power. I work in the area, as well- ConEd's been around here for quite a few days doing repairs.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
Does anyone know what, in general, are the policies if you have tickets and you can't get in due to the snow? Regular (discounted) tickets - not TDF? Thursday is looking worse and worse and damn, I have pretty good seats too. I know, no refunds and all that, but won't some box offices post date them or something if there is space? Thanks in advance.
Matt Rogers- call telecharge. Even when there was a no cancellations/ no refunds / no exchanges policy in place for a show I was supposed to see, the community services rep worked with me to exchange the ticket for a different day, because there was no way I was going to make it to the show (or NYC) on time due to weather delayed travel.
