Roles You Wish People Would Do/Had Done

I just came back from a fantastic production of "Cabaret." On the way back, I was thinking, "If only the timing had been right, Patti LuPone would have been a fabulous Sally Bowles." I think her humor would suit the role, but she could have pulled out the waterworks for "Cabaret."

So, what roles do you wish people had done or roles you hope people will do in the future? It can be something they were offered, or something that you just think they'd be good in.

I know many people have suggested Kerry Butler for both of those roles. I would love her for Sandy. She's proven she can handle both sides of the role.

i agree. But unfortunatly she isn't playing sandy anytime soon. But maybe frenchie though i highly doubt it. I just want her to come back to broadway!

Its heaven! Like somebody said above in a few years She could do Mother in Ragtime. Jonathan Groff could have been a really good Jamie in L5Y.

Julia Murney as Eva Peron. I think out of all the leading belters we have, she's the most appropriate for the role.
