Hi guys! Im looking for a sad love song that can be sung by a male. What is the male equivalent to Im Not That Girl? Or something about loving someone who doesnt love you or that you want a second chance with? Thank you!
It’s not technically Broadway, but “Evermore” from the live action Beauty and the Beast.
”You Should Be Loved” from Side Show and “I’ll Be There” from The Pirate Queen are definitely pining songs but get pretty belty.

To each their own! I don't think of this as a sad song at all; the character is embracing something positive.
Anyhow, my answer to the question would be "Role of a Lifetime" from Bare.

So In Love’s reprise from Kiss Me, Kate.
It's not a "why doesn't she love me" song, but Funny from City of Angels is pretty sad.

"The Right Girl", "Too Many Mornings" (though it's a duet, and plenty longing is coming from Sally, Ben is the one who introduces the regret), "Buddy's Blues" - FOLLIES
The first of these starts as a frantic up-tempo, but about 2/3 of it is a slower kind of frantic, if that makes sense. The second is pure ballad, enjoy. The third is a purely manic up-tempo. All are crushing within context.
"All Through the Night" - ANYTHING GOES
Not too heavy, but pleasantly melancholy.

It may not necessarily be a song about unwanted or unrequited love, but a good show-off-your-voice song would be "There But For You Go I" from BRIGADOON.

I love that song.
One of the songs that always gets me is “Where is Love?” from Oliver.
