Haha-@andy51 you're right. I'm gonna see if any become available in the next week and if not I may just bite the bullet and buy from stubhub.
wait why did Ashley Park leave the show? love Denée though
im obsessed with most of the whole cast though wish Borle was still with them, i would love a new recording with them (plus the last broadway recording is very … mediocre) i need Heather Headley singing those songs in the studio!

Almost definitely a filming conflict.
Judging by the rehearsal photos of Sara Bareilles looking visibly pregnant, she's so over qualified to play the Baker's Wife that she'll have that cursed reversed by the opening number.

I may have missed some photos but if you’re talking about her in the polka dot top, I’m pretty sure that’s a fake belly for Act II.

Looking it over you're probably right, I was thrown off by it mostly not being a costumed rehearsal.
She’s likely choosing to wear the belly because it has some weight to it and affects her singing. That would be my guess, given the absence of any other costume pieces.

Commenting on a woman's body is in poor taste and not appropriate. If the actress is pregnant, she will announce that on her own time. Thanks.

It appears that the rehearsal footage has caused a bit of a run on the box office only for people to discover tickets are sold out. Resellers are apparently starting at 400 dollars...for the balcony.
Hope this gets us a big revival of this show. It's been a while since this show has been on Broadway and we've had like 20 years of minimalist Sondheim, so hopefully Company will lead to us getting more big, flashy revivals of his work.

400 dollars for one of the worst sight lines in any theater in NY? And that vertigo, ugh.

That's the price StubHub is recommending when you list a ticket. I just posted one in orchestra center and it recommended $400-$625. It will be interesting to see how pricing changes in the days ahead.
Just now realizing my ticket is for the 11th and not the original date of the 4th and having a huge issue trying to exchange for another date. Everything is sold out. I sat through The Life, I’m not missing this dangit.

Mezzanine G 1 is a $35 wheelchair accessible seat that was on the City Center site earlier today, and some scumbag decided to not only make $200 on it, but also to not mention the wheelchair part.

I bought a ticket when one popped up thinking I could make it work. Jumped too soon because I can't. I have one center orchestra ticket row G on this Friday the 6th. Just trying to get back face value ($275) if anyone is interested.

My balcony ticket for 5/11 is released - box office was able to help me out. Looks like it’s selling for $50 if anyone wants it.

As one might expect, previously sold out performances are now starting to have limited availability. Both shows on Saturday the 8ths now have a handful of seats for sale, albeit mostly the more expensive orchestra options.
EDIT: Looks like the Saturday shows sold out again.
I saw the dress rehearsal and thought it was well cast and I was very impressed with the direction which was not heavy handed and had a comfortable flow about it.. She used the space wisely and trusted her actors. One simple blocking decision she made in Last Midnight was stunning.
All of the actors were good. Jordan was not on but the understudy was excellent. Gavin was adorably wonderful, Heather who has an extraordinary stage presence, made her part her own and NPH stepped up. The part of him that is inaccessible worked well for the character and he was on top of his vocals. Renee Benton sang beautifully. I swear she has perfect pitch. She also made clear acting choices. Sarah was quite good as well displaying a lovely warmth about her. And I loved Ann Harada.
The set and lighting design was simple but smart and the puppets with their puppeteers were outstanding.
Given that the dress was so strong I can only imagine what the show will become as it progresses.
Happy to hear it!
They’re hoping Jordan can return to the show for the second week. I’m glad his understudy is good!
Was Jordan out due to covid? I think his understudy was Jason Forbach if I read the program correctly. Perhaps someone will correct me if I am wrong. He and Gavin worked well together.

If by some miracle someone has a Balcony seat available at price for 5/4 (tonight) please PM me.
Or, please PM me if you have 2 mezzanine or balcony tickets for another performance you wish to sell.
I have 1 balcony seat for tomorrow, but now a friend who previously expressed no interest when I floated the idea wants to go! 🙄
I realize I probably can’t make this happen, but I’ve been lucky before. 😀
Ahhhh, to be independently wealthy…

No, that would have been announced if he a going to miss performances. Anyone assuming that is wrong.
