Posted: 3/6/11 at 11:26amAt the stage door last night, a few people ran towards a car parked in front of the theatre entrance (thinking it was Bebe or Nathan) and a few girls screamed with joy. They ran back to the stage door saying it was Sarah Jessica Parker. So I guess she saw the show last night to do research or see if it sparked intrest with her?

i saw her in the audience of billy elliot once.
and i saw david hyde pierce at next to normal.
obviously, they were doing research for the revivals they're starring in two decades from now. (eye roll)

The Obamas have gone to the theatre quite a bit...I guess the girls are going to be stepping into the Billy Elliot ensemble with Michelle as Mrs. Wilkinson. Or maybe they will alternate as Billy!
And George H. W. and Barbara Bush go to Ogunquit Playhouse all the time--so I guess it's about time for an Ogunquit revival of On Golden Pond starring some of America's favorite republicans!
Also, it just dawned on me.....I went to a Broadway show, one, maybe 2, maybe 20+ times.....so I will be expecting a call from the producers to offer me a role!

Celebrities go to see shows all the time without wanting to be in whatever show they went to see or the producers wanting them in it.
No doubt she just wanted to see her dear friend Nathan in one of his finest roles.

When I went to see NOVEMBER a few seasons ago, in the audience along with me sat Mel Brooks, Marian Seldes, Don Rickles and David Schwimmer. Obviously, they were gearing-up to take to President Smith, Clarice Bernstein, Dwight Grackle and Archer Smith once the original company left...
People are so silly. Celebrities see shows all the time!
