I did some digging, and it appears they did a Tier 3 Work Session (whatever that means lmao) last month. Stephanie J Block wasn’t there, but Shoshana Bean was, and I’m a big fan of hers, too. So it looks like they are still working on it. Here’s hoping they are able to fix the book issues!!
From Actors Equity: The Development Agreement is used for the development of new works, usually prior to an intended Production Agreement engagement. The agreement includes three contract tiers: Tiers 1 and 2 are limited to two weeks, with Tier 3 covering two to eight weeks. All three tiers offer pension and health benefits. Tier 3 and, in some circumstances, Tier 2 offer contingent compensation.

Thank you!! I saw it was a 3-week work session, which makes sense why it would fall into Tier 3.
My digging was minimal lmao. I just searched #thebedwetter on Instagram, which is where I saw members of the cast and crew post pictures about it
Levy chose not to proceed due to upcoming commitments.
Great news. Danny Mefford has replaced Byron Easley. Easley's work was underwhelming, basic / sloppy. (Easley was smartly replaced before Paper Mill Gun & Powder too). Maybe this will help Kaufman's direction appear stronger as, from the Atlantic version, she didn't seem to understand musicals.
I loved this show so much at Atlantic. Shoshana will be a great replacement for Caissie, who was excellent. Hope any changes they make only improve it.
