MysteriousLady: So, it's a Scott Rudin revival of 42nd Street starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Oscar Isaac, and Sabrina Carpenter with a new book by Ethan Coen.
Y'all had some fever dreams before, but this one takes the cake.
Also: I'm sat.
And don’t forget that Jerry Zaks or Jack O’Brien are directing.

AND it's got a lost Sondheim score that nobody was told he was working on, but he finished shortly before he passed!
AND AND it's a totally uncensored, unsimulated look at the seedy, sexy world of Broadway in the depression: all that backstage rammin' and slammin' depicted live onstage every night!
AND AND AND it's going to be presented in the resurrected Mark Hellinger theatre, which will be renamed the Sabrina Carpenter Ethan Coen 42nd Street Theater!
AND AND AND AND everyone who goes gets a coupon for free universal healthcare! And Pokemon are real now! And flying cars!

I heard they’re going to add the characters of Desiree and Madame Armfeld into the show, and Cate Blanchett and Julie Andrews are going to play them.

By popular demand, the standout musical number "Dames" now has two reprises and a megamix. It's gonna get Hamilton numbers on streaming.

I need this to happen so badly"
She can't act. I've seen her in Emergency and H8UG.

He seems to suggest it will be Richard Jones in his stories today. Seems like he mostly works in London nowadays.

And I remember previous rumors of a workshop choreographed by Michelle Dorrance. Which could be interesting.

It felt like 50% of the storefronts were still vacant. So when I saw this thread, I thought that maybe Rudin was going to help revitalize that strip. Oh well. My mistake. Thankfully I found Schnippers."
If you thought that was depressing you should have walked there during the 70s and 80s.
