Won the lotto for Sunday 5/7 matinee and got Mezz row K, all the way to the house left side. View was perfectly fine. Missed I think one thing on the stage right, and some heads were occasionally cut off when the actors were on the second level, but that was never anything important.
Tried to rush today on a two-show day, and this one is getting tough! We didn't make the cut.
My wife and I showed up at 8:30am Saturday for a 10am opening, hoping for rush seats to either show. When we arrived, we were already #16 in line - and it was raining! They only had 8 rush tickets per show, for 16 in total, so they ran out way before we got to the front of the line.
Needless to say, Shucked is starting to get popular enough that if you want a rush ticket, you now need to line up at least 2 hours early to guarantee you'll get one.
Two more things: if you DO get them, it seems like most people got box seats at the $35 rush price. If you DON'T get them, they offered $59 tickets to everyone else, so we got those. We were centre Mezz row M - according to Ticketmaster, we got a $20 discount per seat.
No but I won the lotto last month. Worth giving it a shot as you find out the day prior if you win or not, giving you a chance to also rush if you lose. Got orch row O seats 6 and 8.
Have they been offering lottery loser tickets? Or in person rush? Gonna try next weekend to finally see this.
