Not on the Broadway World Message Boards, unfortunately."
So I've noticed.

No, the OP posted something that made no sense to anyone who saw Smash at any point, and was then caught in a bold faced lie when they contradicted their own post by pulling AI gibberish from god knows where.
Yes people can be snarky/horrible on these boards, but this aint that. OP could have easily said "Do shows ever undergo major changes during previews" and the responses would have been chock full of informative anecdotes.
Yeah, this post was deserving of snark. OP was flat out lying so it's deserved.

Cool, but the OP didn’t title the thread this. Obviously, the main topic they wanted to discuss was “Smash changed ending SINCE OPENING-SPOILER,” which didn’t even actually happen…

Ok, but they can still be called out without being bullied. For instance, one could say "Are you sure that actually happened? Your source doesn't seem legitimate, and I haven't seen any proof of that." Instead of "You are lying and you must be so stupid if you think we will fall for your AI gibberish." My point is that even if they are completely in the wrong, there are ways to point that out kindly, instead of just accusing them.

OK but again they said they SAW it. With their own two eyes. Not they heard about a changed ending. They said they saw it.

So they lied. And? It's great that people are noticing and pointing that out, it really is, but its not hurting anyone, and once it has been established that they lied, hopefully the person will know better for next time. And if not just point out kindly when they lie and then ignore them. That way other people know that it's not the truth and can go on with their lives. I honestly don't even know why I'm bothering with this.
I’ve been here for so long and it still can surprise me how sometimes a thread goes so off the rails.

No one is being bullied or "accused" of anything- they lied and people reacted. Itd be nice if people would stop spamming these boards will silly claims, allegations and stories...

How rare is it for a show to put in changes after it opens? (BTW, this is confirmed info). I’d guess it’s exceedingly rare. Does anyone know of another example. (I prefer thenew opening)."
Unless I missed something, the OP has done nothing to explain the factual inaccuracies of their original post.
"So you....haven't seen the show twice, then?"
Has he actually seen it once? As for people feeling some posters have been too cruel to the OP and maybe he'll learn from his actions, there are repercussions for lying so I have no problems treating him accordingly. Unfortunately, our President gets away with it every friggin' day.
i asked chat gpt about it and it told me that the new ending is "all three beautiful and vivacious actresses vying for the coveted central role in Bombshell are smashed by a two-ton weight, much to the delight and satisfaction of the paying audience" is this true???
I also asked ChatGPT and it confirmed that the description you provided is true!
Op, I totally just stole your chat gpt boyfriend/sex doll (I'll return him soon!) and he actually told me the new ending!
The chandelier from Phantom just absolutely clocks them all in the face and they go hurling into the audience. Elphaba and Spiderman come and scoop their lifeless bodies up from the floor, they are tossed in her bubble and are slowly raised to the heavens while Jeremy Jordan (out of breath and weirdly dressed in some weird cave explorer's outfit?) comes flying into the theater screaming how he DESERVES TO BE ON BROADWAY and sings the entire catalog from Hit List with Beta- Side-Kick Kyle on the piano. CURTAIN.
