I *think* they're all contracted for at least a year, so I'm pretty sure that mean's they'll all still be around :)
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
I just saw the show again tonight and both Jon Groff and Johnny Gallagher told me that they intend on staying with the show until they get kicked out...GOOD NEWS!!!

woot for them being so awesome and devoted to the show!!

anyways to those who sat on-stage and know the drill how does it go? and after the show when are you actually allowed to get up and leave?
I had on-stage seats last week. It was a trip. They have special lockers in a separate area where you have to store your coats, purses, etc. And you don't get Playbills until after the show. They instruct you not to talk during the show, to leave promptly at intermission (for a set change), but to come back not too late too. The usher on our side was a stern older guy, very strict, but that just kind of added to the fun.
I could go on and on about the experience, but it was simply amazing. (My seat especially was really in the middle of stuff....more than I ever dreamed. ) And I kept catching the eye of one of the cast, and waited at the stage door...and he and I went out for coffee!!!!
I would advise that you wear dark clothing. And be prepared to be ON DISPLAY.
I sat on stage last night for the first time and I loved it. I've seen it from the audience twice and must say that I loke the stage seats so much better! One of the ensemble members was behind me the entire time and he has such an amazing voice!! Four or five of the cast members sat next to me throughout the show...hearing them sing practically right into your ear is incedible. Next time I'm on stage I'm on the opposite side, so I can't wait to compare!

i've got onstage seats for early march and i am all kinds of excited. i cannot even wait. i am in love with this show and the cast. it is insane. really. i have an issue ahha.
but, i also am curious.. which cast member?! come on, spill!
my eye is twitching involuntarily just thinking about it.. and if it is who i am hoping it's not.. i am ridiculously jealous. cause i love him, and he is my favorite. *crosses fingers*
let us know, haha! <3 =)
hear my song; it was made for the time when you don't know where to go, listen to the song that i sing, you'll be fine..
yeahh, if it was Jon Groff or Johnny Gallagher I'm just mildly jealous... just mildly though (and by mildly of course I mean INSANELY)

Last night my friend, who is much, much older than myslef or the cast for that matter, asked two of them if they wanted to go out for a drink...my mouth almost hit the floor...I was horrified!! I told her after, no, no, no...you just don't do that...however, if anyone had said yes, I would have been telling her how awesome she is!

hahhaha this is true kgallo! when i was at SA, my friend said to some of the cast members, want to go to dinner? and i quickly covered with a, he's just kidding.. i hope. and afterwards i thoroughly explained that you can't do that, they'll think you're creepy. haha.. but as you said, if they had said, yeah sure!.. i would've jumped on it.. and willingly have missed my train home. haahha. =)
but seriously, i want this chick to tell it like it is and say who she had a coffee date with! yikes, coffee date. how unfair is the world, i mean come ON.
i'm in loooooove.

here's a random question someone recently asked me, that i didn't really know the answer to..
so i know in the show that the character ERNST played by gideon glick [what a name, lol <3] is gay, but friends and i couldn't help but notice that during the curtain call and at the stage door etc. he was a little flamboyant.. and yes, i know this is theatre and all and that everyone is a little flamboyant, but it was just a thought.. does anyone know if gideon is gay for sure? just curious! thanks!

Why is it assumed I am a "chick"??? I am a guy!!!! (notice my name : "gym-DUDE-va" :)
I probably should not have brought up the whole coffee-date story!!!! It was just one part of sharing what an amazing time I had.
It was NOT one of the principal actors. (Not Jonathan Groff, for example....I wish!!!)
I did not come out and ask him out at the stage door. (I am not THAT bold. ) We chatted for a minute, then we ended up walking in the same direction, got to talking some more, hit it off...
OK, here is a consolation story where I CAN name the name: A lot of the cast entered and exited the stage right past me...after the last curtain call, on his way out, Jonathan Groff touched my shoulder (!), smiled at me and said "thanks for coming!". WOW!!! You don't get that in the orchestra seats!!!
I saw its third preview back in Novemeber (rushed and got third row center!) Absolutely loved it. I couldn't wait for the cast recording. I bought it the day it came out and haven't been able to stop listening to it since. Great show. I can't wait to revisit it.

Does his sexuality really matter? Does it detract from his performance? No. It's his own business.
and i have had that same conversation with posters via PM. and i'm with you. but don't tell me you've never been curious. i guarantee that i am not the only one who had wondered that. just the only one to post it. so sue me. good lord, you people.

dramaqueen2-I know exactly what you meant with your previous question about Gideon. I've never thought much about it with him necessarily, but with some others. And of course it doesn't matter and won't affect their performances and our views of them but really, we're human, and human nature prevents us from always thinking rationally. So, pretty much all I want to say is, yes...you're right in saying this:
"i guarantee that i am not the only one who had wondered that. just the only one to post it."
I say good for you for speaking what's on your mind!
