a group of fans gave Jonathan a fake Tony with "best actor" written on it and when he saw Lea he was said something to the effect of look what I got and then Lea pouted and was like I want one..it was adorable but I think you kind of had to be there cause I'm doing a bad job explaning

Nice review Foster but JBW's attendance isn't that great but the person with the worst attendance by far, is Lauren Pritchard. Even though she has her dance captain days, take away those and she still has terrible attendance. Cool that Ms. Ziemba was in the audience.

Becoz i knew you21...what exactly is a dance captain's job and why would that job pull her out of the show? Are they required to watch from the audience? I've heard this term several times, but still don't understand it...

A dance captain is there to make sure the choreography in check. If the dance captain believes the choreography is not up to par, they can call a rehearsal. Also, if you are a dance captain of a long running show you will rehearse new cast members coming into the company. Lauren is out about once month to sit in the audience and watch the show to see if the choreography is up to par.

James, I'm not sure when the on-stage seats for October will be released.

I just wanted to post and mention that the last SA discount code that you're bound to see for a while (SA4FANS) is only eligible for four more performances: Wednesdays June 20th and 27th at 2pm and 8pm. I don't expect any more discount codes to pop up after that, but who knows? I suppose we'll see how sales are without discount codes.

So if you want to see SA in the Orchestra or Front Mezzanine for $84.00 or in the Rear Mezzanine for $66.50 on either of these two days, this may be your last shot for some time at not having to spend full price.

Also, yes I do notice JBW out alot. I however have seen it 3 times without seeing a single understudy. But there are videos of them perfoming on TV and at stores with John B Write absent.

The word gets around pretty easy. I knew way back in December.

Someone probably answered this already but it's supposed to be about S&M...or if not that specific, a way of making intense contact without having sex since they don't feel that they can. Beginning of sexual awakening, all that good stuff...

I know someone who has seen the show over 30 times and they said tonights show was the best show they had ever seen. Mostly due to Phoebe as Wendla.

I know from a very reliable source(Krysta herself) that Krysta is leaving the show in July to be in ACL. I haven't checked to see if this is known already.

So the matinee after the tony's when people were cheering constantly for like two min straight.....what exactly did the cast do.....did they just freeze frame and keep character or did they flash a quick smile at the audience or what?

popular_elphie and obsessedjb, I got my ticket to OSP and I'm going alone too. I'm sure there will be plenty of people there alone.

LilBwayLady, it wasn't a matinee. It was the day after the Tonys, Monday night at 8pm. When people were cheering, just as when audiences cheer and clap for a long time at any show, the cast sat there and took it in and waited for us to stop, then they began the next scene.

ok, I like you Becoz. I really do and if you really are fourteen or fifteen than you have a whole lot of my respect because almost all of the time you're very mature and classy about your love for Spring Awakening so please don't take this as an attack but honestly now...do we need this negativity twoards Lea from a FAN of Spring Awakening?? Every time someone has mentioned Phoebe or Krysta or even Lea, within ten minutes you will post with some snide comment about how she has bad attendance or that she doesn't hold a candle to her understudies and sad that is. I understand that many are excited to see these girls go on as Wendla (I would love to see either of their takes) and I'm sure that maybe they would offer something that you like more than Lea. I have no idea what you thought of her performance and I'm not gonna try to put words in your mouth. But instead of posting in excitment and eagerness that these girls get a chance to shine you add in these jabs at Michele and then make mysterious statements that hide your reason for disliking her which you've only JUST started to explain and which are not needed at all. I realize this is a public message board and we all can post whatever we want but that's the thing. PLENTY of people on this board can't stand both Michele and her performance so I just don't feel that it's needed from one of Spring's biggest supporters on the boards. Again not to attack you but you've done it after practically ANY mention of Lea on the boards.
