Then why were they selling the posters at Curtains? I don't remember seeing them sell the posters when I went last Sunday, but they did last Wednesday.

Nothing at GG on Sun matinee but Spelling Bee was selling various items as well as cast members collecting donations after the show.

Company now has little glass paperweights that look like the clear plastic box/stool things onstage and in one side is a picture of the full cast with the logo. I *think* they're $40, but I'm not certain and I seem to remember Raul not being certain either.

Yes, Journey's End has signed windowcards for $20. I was volunteering there last Friday night.
Drowsy Chaperone has posters for $60 and signed playbills for $20 though this week they aren't doing speeches because it's a new actor in the role.

Spring Awakening is now selling signed posters, but they're different from the one they usually sell. If anyone's ever seen the full page advertisement on nytimes.com for Spring Awakening (it pops up every now and then when you click on links to articles), I'm pretty sure it's that picture, with the entire cast.

We're doing really well at PHANTOM. I think in the past 2 weeks we've raised over $40,000. Maybe more. The cast has been great, they do a wonderful job. Some shows started early (like PHANTOM), but most shows should be in full swing by now. We collect through April 23rd I believe.
The PHANTOM cast members that are out front collecting will gladly take a photo with anyone who makes a donation.
They like to say that they hope they raise a million dollars or two and come in last at the fund-raising competition, so that more money is raised by the other shows. What a classy, caring, generous group of people.

I went to a bunch of theaters yesturday...
Grey Gardens, Chorus Line, and Curtains Were not selling anything.
Jouneys End had signed posters for $20, Les Mes had signed posters for $50 w/ Lea's signature, Company had signed posters for $50 and signed palybills for $20, Tarzan had signed posters for $50 as did the Lion King.
Does anyone know why Grey Gardens and Chours Line are not participating.
Also how much was the Spring Awakening poster?

No, most shows won't sell before the show - you need to wait until after the performance. I went today and ran all around town trying to get as much as I could.
I started at Tarzan as they had a 1pm matinee which let out at 3:30. Got my Tarzan poster, shaked hands with Josh Strickland who was very nice and ran over to Drowsy. The performance was already started, so I bought a vinyl album and asked about the signed poster. They told me they would be sold after the show, but that I could check with the stage door manager to see about getting one earlier. I did and he was so nice, he brought me one, but it wasn't signed by Sutton! Of Course, I didn't want it, so he went back upstairs, GOT SUTTON TO SIGN IT WHILE OFFSTAGE and brought it back down for me! Very excited.
Then ran over to Journey's End and got my $20 poster.
Then ran over to Spring Awakening as they had a 2pm matinee, letting out at 4:15. The usher was very nice and brought me into the theatre during the final song. Got that poster!
Then ran over to Company, had to wait about 1/2 hour and got that poster.
Then ran over to Les Miserables and got my poster, which is signed by Lea Salongo, so I was very excited.
I then tried to get over to Mary Poppins, but I was out of time - they had already stopped selling.
The dancers at the stage door of A Chorus Line said that they've signed posters, they just aren't selling them yet. They did take my name and number and will call me!
I checked at Grey Gardens and they expect to do posters, but haven't started yet.
I also checked with Curtains and they have nothing for sale and may not participate as it is so close to the opening.
Lastly, I checked at Jersey Boys and they are doing squat.
I am exhausted!

Wow pianoman, very cool! You got a ton of great stuff and it all goes to a wonderful organization.
Jersey Boys does have stuff though, maybe they ran out by the time you got there? I was collecting donations there on Friday and they had the posters. Last season they were $100, I'm not sure what the price was this time.
Today I saw Tarzan and I got a cute little toy monkey for $10.

Does the Les Miz poster also have the signatures of Alex Gemignani and Jenny Galloway?
When I got my poster, I didnt see Lea, Alex, nor Jenny on there.

Lea would be on my card too, not sure if I'd include Jenny and Alex though (dancing card of course)......
lol
Maybe I should stop by Les Mis too if I get a chance. Bought the Spelling Bee card, but that one also had Raul Esparza/Brian Stokes Mitchell and Lea Solonga on it!!!
