Hello!

My seat is Center Orchestra Row T, Seat 110.

Will I get to see the staircase scenes?

Thank you!

On Ticketmaster, it states that there is a "thin rail" that might obstruct the view from the front row of the mezzanine and the balcony. In Googling pictures from the inside of the theater, it doesn't look like the rail is that high. Has anyone sat in these seats that could weigh in on this?

Funny that so many of us seem to have booked these same exact seats!  My friends and I are in M2, M4, and M6 in a few weeks.  Thanks for those who have commented already.

For those who have sat there/posted the photo - any sense that the far right seats (e.g. M6) have any obstruction?  Are the seats in those raised sections angled toward the stage?  (From the photo and seating chart, it seems like there is an inward angle - but not totally clear.)

From other posters, seems like might miss some scenes in Joe's apartment, but is everything else pretty clear?  Thanks again.

I sat on M2 (orch) and those seats are great, you may miss a thing or two, but great seats regardless.

I didn't know the person next to me at N 6, but I could tell that at times he missed some things because they were barely in my sight line, I was at N 4... it wasn't anything major though... mostly Joe's apartment and a bit where Joe and Betty talk about their script... you won't miss any of Norma's scenes though, with the exception of maybe a small appearance before her "official" entrance which I don't think a lot of people noticed to be honest...

The side seats are raised and they tilt a little towards the stage, I believe that the closer to the stage the bigger the tilt? But I could be wrong.

I picked N because I knew that a bit further back would give me better views and I wasn't disappointed, and I cannot say this enough... the legroom on row N on the side seats are fantastic!

Thanks to both of you!  Sounds like on balance a pretty decent seat...especially given the price.  :)

Can anyone offer insight into the back of the orchestra at the Palace? I have a knee that locks if I keep it in the same position for too long so I really try to sit on the aisle so I can stretch it a little. There's not too many aisle seats open until you get to like Row T. Are those just too far under the overhang?

A picture was posted on the reviews thread of the curtain call.  There looks like there is a staircase on both sides. If I am sitting in the audience looking at the stage which side am I suppose to avoid if I am only offered sides?  I thought I read to avoid the extreme LEFT side and sit in the middle or RIGHT side.  Thanks for any clarification.

Looks like they just released a bunch of center orchestra Row, N-P for $169 for this weekend. just got N on the aisle for tomorrow afternoon. I'm guessing they were holding these for potential premiums, but aren't quite there yet?

The left-side section of the scaffolding set is Norma's home. Though she walks across the upper tier on the scaffolding several times, she descends and all of her scenes gravitate to the left staircase.  The right staircase is Joe's apartment and used for other non-mansion scenes (Artie's apartment, etc).

From the responses I'm guessing the right side of the theatre is the better place to sit. Has anyone sat in mezzanine. What's the view like there? Is it worth getting rush for mezzanine over orchestra? Balcony is too high up for me.

I'm also curious about the mezz. I'm planning to rush but if that is unsuccessful, I see Today Tix has rear mezz seats for $69, while front balcony are more expensive, $79. Can anyone speak to the view from any part of the mezz?

I sat front right mezzanine and I had a perfect view of the entire stage. Not far away, no obstructions. I highly recommend front mezz.

I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

I'm on the last row of the Balcony in the center section. What's the view like from there?

Does anyone know how close the first row of the Mezz overhangs the orchestra?  I'm debating weather to splurge on row A tickets in the Mezz, or to get Orchestra row P, Seats 2-4.

I don't know exactly, but the mezzanine row A is a pretty good view of the theatre. I saw it from the rear mezzanine and from the orchestra (row M) and I like the orchestra seats better personally, but I was also lucky that no one was blocking my view. So if you are a short person like me, mezzanine may be better. But I think this theatre is fine as long as you don't seat in the rear mezzanine or the balcony, the seats have pretty good leg room, if you are in the orchestra or front mezzanine, you should be ok.

Sat in row M far left side, but on aisle. These seats are nicely raised and avoid conflicts of taller folks in front of you. As the two of us had the aisle seats, we were less blocked out by the speaker as others who were  seated more far left than us. It is far more important to sit as close as possible. Here I can truly say you get an amazing view of Close's expressions. I cant say that first row mezzanine are not great,  but I always prefer to sit as close as possible.

Agreed, my best advice to anyone is to spend big and sit as close to the stage as you can. The facial expressions of Glenn and some of the artists in the show are really extraordinary, the costumes are pretty fantastic too.

I believe Mezz A overhangs Orch L, and Balcony A overhangs Mezz G.

Curious as to where the seats are located for those who have purchased through TKTS?

I'm going to try to see this next month, looking for a single seat.  Normally, I always sit in orchestra seats, between E and M.  For this production, would mezzanine be better?  Can you see faces clearly from the mezz?
