I was on Sutton Foster's website and it said she was in a workshop of Wicked. Did she have a part or was she just in the ensemble?

she wanted to be in the ensemble. its somewhere on Broadway.com an interview.

Why? 'Millie' was a hit and so was/is "Wicked". It wouldve helped her if anything. Anyway, shes doing Little Women the Musical now. That should be interesting.

If she would have stayed with WICKED, she wouldn't have gotten the chance to step in for KC in Millie in LaJolla and become such a sensation.

She stepped in for Erin Dilly, who was "let go" during rehearsals, La Chenoweth parted ways long before it got to that.

Yes, it made her a "big star". They're talking about her in Kansas right now, right after talking about Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake's alleged split.

she didnt say she wanted to be in the ensemble of Wicked for the Bway run, she said she wanted to be in the ensemble of the Wicked workshop because she thought it was a great show and wanted just to be a little part of it
