Oliver was a bit bulkier than that when I saw him last month. I was sitting in the fourth row of the stalls, and it looked like his muscles were going to bust his corset open in his first number. I think he's been hitting the gym since those photos were taken.

I doubt anyone 'fell through' - at least I wouldn't take anything from Nick who now gets to create this role. This was an incredibly hard role to cast, and perhaps most of the Broadway 'names' weren't really right for it. I say congrats for a chorus boy making good. Way to go Nick.

Matt Cavenaugh indeed "fell through," but good for Adams.

He's much more appropriate for the role.

MB, Nick was already cast in the ensemble before this. So he was indeed bumped up. They stopped courting Cavenaugh a while ago. There was apparently someone in between who they were trying to get.

Yuck. Nick Adams? Really? Completely disliked him in LaCage, and am so disappointed he's doing Adam/Felicia. After seeing Oliver Thornton, Nick will be a total dud.
