Sorry for many reasons.
I hope they get a cast album out.

I guess when it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Much luck to the whole cast on their future broadway works.
Poor Taboo and poor Rosie.
Taboo gave all Broadway fans something to talk about and the score shocked so many people. Oh god I wish I could see it before the closing!

This is so wrong. The show just could not get a break. Kudos to Rosie for keeping it open as long as she has.
Wow.....I wasn't expecting this. It's too bad.
I wish it could stay open just a little longer- then a bunch of people who heard it was closing could go see it...
It's too bad. I really wanted to hear the music. I heard it was incredible.
wow. i just bought tickets the other day for the 1st of February. glad i did.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show, and will be sad to see it go. Hopefully, there will be a recording released with the Broadway cast. I have the London, but it'd be nice to get those new songs on it. I look forward to seeing many of those actors and actresses on other Broadway stages soon!

When Taboo is good, it's freakin' amazing. When it's bad, it's bad. It's comparable to the Broadway Chess: instead of cleaning it up for the US, they wrecked it, but the score and the cast are solid gold.

There won't be a recording if the show is closing....I'm very sad about this.
I already stated in another thread how I felt about Taboo closing so I won't say it again, but I want to say kudos to Rosie for fighting so hard for something she wanted, and it really is too bad that she had to pull the plug on it so soon.
I feel bad, an amazing cast, with some incredible music...I am glad I was able to catch it twice.....too bad all this bad press (not all just on Taboo) has had such a negative impact on a great show. I really wish there was going to be a recording.
well that took long enough.
Crap! I really wanted to see it!!! This is just too bad...But alas, that's the way the cookie crumbled!
See Ya!

People here are surprised? How can you be with those kind of numbers. The writing has been on the wall for weeks.

Sad, not surprised.
I'm not surprised that this happened at all, just sad. I think everyone was sort of waiting for this to happen since the show opened, whether they wanted it to happen or not. (why anyone would WANT this to happen is beyond me...but I have read posts of several people who did)
Okay, so based on the article prior to the announcement, the cast recording was planned to be released next month, I guess. So, will they sell it at the show? Is it cancelled? Regardless of the opinions that we all have on the show, it still would be great to have the recording out there for everyone. It seems that, in general, that's one thing that many agree on: the score.
