What's the early word on this show? Does anyone know anything about it? Is is supposed to be as good as MOVIN OUT?
My brother's girlfriend is on the publicity staff, and I think she said that the buzz was good.
It may not be everyone's "cup of tea"
But I loved it in San Diego and I hear Twyla is workin' her magic as we speak to make it even better.
I predict it will put Michael Arden even futher on the Map than he has already been in his young career.
I am a big Fan of his and even I was shocked at his voice and range, and The rest of the cast (some are staying some not, I will miss Jenn Collela) were also incredible.
I cannot wait! Michael Arden is...well he's Michael Arden. Words don't do him justice. The buzz in San Diego for an out of town try out i thought was very good. I'm pumped!

Why would some of the cast not stay with the show? you'd think most musical theater actors would love to be on Broadway. My prediction, though, is that this show will be over looked next season with all the big shows opening in the spring.
They would stay but Twyla has other ideas.
This will be an interesting not overlooked show.
After Movin' Out People will wanna see what she is up to.
Curtain-
>I will miss Jenn Collela
Does it mean Jackie Seiden will take over Cleo?

Oh okay, so it wasn't her decision not to stay with the show? Yeah, I'm not knocking the show - I haven't seen it. Just saying with Mary Poppins, Pirate Queen, Chorus Line, Les Miserables, and Legally Blonde all opening next season, I'm not sure I see room for this show.
This show is like none of those you metioned RENTBOY
it will find an audience or maybe not
FakeBlue:
A new Actress/Singer will be playing Cleo
Twyla has High Hopes for Her
Can I just say, MICHAEL ARDEN rocks my world. Such an amazing talent.

Caren Lyn Manuel is taking over the role of Cleo.
Any other word on who is out, and who is in? (I know Michael and Thom Sesma are staying)

If Jenn is out, that leaves her open for High Fidelity...
"Is is supposed to be as good as MOVIN OUT?"
Lets hope not. Movin Out was terrible. By far the worse thing I have ever seen in my life. Lestat (which I loved dont get me wrong) was terrible and yet better than Movin Out. So lets hope its BETTER than Movin Out.
I still do not understand how you can say MOVIN' OUT was terrible. You have poor taste.
VERY poor taste.
I tend to agree Movin out was an incredible modern ballet!
Doug Kreeger is out as he took an ensemble (and u/s for Marius) role in Les Mis.
Do they have a theatre or date yet?

From what I understand- it was her decision not to do the show. In fact I heard that even after a round of auditions they asked her to do it again.
Okay I checked playbill.com and googled "THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'" and checked Twyla's official page. I didn't see anything about the theatre or date yet. Where did you get the info, guys?

Wow that still has Zanna listed on there as a possibility for summer 2006
Thank you. I went directly under the Broadway listing/tickets page (playbill online). The show isn't listed there yet. The link Regina mentioned only indicates TBA for date(s) and theatre (and Jenn is still listed).
