I wonder if they’ll do another show at Madison Square Garden. I think I remember them saying they wanted to make it a yearly event. Not sure, though.

Wow, thats really great news. I hope this gets the long run it deserves but that also is a sign of some healthy life left in Broadway staying power.

I also I hope Ed Harris comes back when Daniels moves on. Would love to see him.

Sounds like changes will be fairly minor and scattered. I imagine the character of Calpurnia will be altered slightly to be given a bit more inner life, instead of just being the angel on Atticus' shoulder. But we'll see.

Worth noting Sorkin's comment about Rudin: "he's not pulling the strings from backstage." Clearly Sorkin is aware of that speculation going on, and is trying to nip it in the bud. Personally, I'm inclined to believe him. At this point, it would be foolish to lie about it.

Unless the changes make it much more like the book and less “alternate universe” TKAM, I’m still going to really really dislike it. And I’m still going to be really annoyed that they used the title to get patrons and then they tried to “improve” on Harper Lee’s version like it wasn’t enough to begin with.
