Oh gosh! What a surprise! Wonder how long the two are expected to be in it. Also curious if Nick Robinson and Taylor Trensch will be back.
Also…not to thread jack, but not too long ago the Instagram page for To Kill A Mockingbird in the West End announced new dates as well as a new Atticus. Rafe Spall appears to be replacing Rhys Ifans.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

I'm still crossing my fingers (but not holding my breath) that Eliza Scanlen returns. Also hope that Russell Harvard returns, which seems like a more realistic possibility.
”On October 5, Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird is back, with Jeff Daniels returning as Atticus Finch, and Celia Keenan-Bolger reprising her Tony Award®-winning performance as Scout.”

If you'll take a look, you will see I was talking about exit dates. Jeff Daniels is leaving January 4th, but Celia Keenan-Bolger's exit date was not specified.
The play's official website says Ed Harris is still in Mockingbird and the official return date will be announced at a later time.
It's not official yet folks, but the Telecharge link is very encouraging. I am so glad more people will get the chance to see Daniels's and Keenan-Bolger's incredible performances.
Just bought my ticket. I missed them the first time around, and Celia is one of my favorite actresses working in the theatre, so this is incredible news.

Even though I have full confidence that it's accurate, and that we'll get an announcement either tomorrow or Friday, without official word, I don't think they could get away with publishing it themselves.

Celia was genius start to finish.
I am bummed about missing Ed Harris though. Daniels did good work but was very eager to see others. (though i suspect this will run a while, and I will)
Excited to see another show announcing return dates! Now if only we could get a West Side Story announcement... WSS and Company are the two shows I am most looking forward to seeing again.
"There’s nothing quite like the power and the passion of Broadway music. "
"It was also announced that Orin Wolf has been named Executive Producer of To Kill A Mockingbird, effective immediately. Mr. Wolf will oversee all aspects of the production."
This is the first of Scott Rudin’s shows to announce a plan to move on without its lead producer. In April, Rudin said he would step back from producing after facing scrutiny of his bullyingbehavior.
The production will now be overseen by Orin Wolf, who was the lead producer of the Tony-winning musical “The Band’s Visit,” and who is the president of a touring company, NETworks, that before the pandemic had been engaged by Rudin to supervise a “Mockingbird” tour. Wolf’s title will be executive producer, and he will be responsible for the show’s operations, reporting to Barry Diller, a lead producer who will be the producers’ managing member with ultimate responsibility for its financing.
“The show was positioned in a strong and beautiful way, and I don’t think my job is to come in and fix anything, but to honor what’s there,” Wolf said in an interview. “I’m not coming in to make artistic decisions.”
Wolf said Rudin would not have any role with the production, adding that he has had no recent communication with Rudin. Wolf’s agreement was negotiated with Diller, he said, and a condition of his employment was that Rudin would have no voice in the production.
“The Broadway company will no longer pay any compensation to Scott as a producer, and he’ll no longer have any managerial or decision-making role of any kind,” Wolf said. “He does have a small investment position, which is passive.” "
Orin Wolf was mentored by Hal Prince, and has always come across as a gentleman. This bodes well for the future of producing in this industry— especially post-Rudin.
Very glad this is returning. I was hoping to catch it again at some point, and now I will.
I will absolutely be there for this. Got to see Ed Harris not long before shutdown. He was excellent, as was the actress playing Mayella Ewell, who I didn't realize until afterwards was Eliza Scanlen (of Little Women and Babyteeth).
Discounts on selected seats are available to Lincoln Center Theater members. I haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere, but I logged into LCT’s website as a member, and the offer is there. The seats that are available to LCT members aren’t great (I had K1 in the orchestra for a cancelled performance in March 2020, and now it looks like you have to go back to Row P to get an aisle seat in the orchestra at the discounted price), but they’re $72, compared to the $159 price the general public is being charged for the same seats, so worth knowing about if you’re an LCT member.
