Should I have not done this? I don't want people to scream at me.
I want to not use this thread just out of spite. Somebody, anybody, make a new thread.
Let's use this thread. Please be sure to post the reviews right here!

Of all people, Matthew Murray actually LIKED IT!

OH MY GOD
If he liked it when he hates every great show then it's dead.
Jorge, could you change the thread title to exactly "TUCK EVERLASTING Reviews" for formatting consistency? Thanks!

NBC New York is MIXED to POSITIVE, negatively commenting on the ballet.

I am SHOCKED by the reviews so far... I thought this was easily one of the season's worst offerings.
^Me, too. Ive certainly disliked other shows more, but it's the low point of the season (so far) for me.

Maybe the critics are tired...

But after Waitress and American Psycho, two amazing shows, getting mixed reviews, I'm honestly going to be a little upset if Tuck gets good reviews.
I thought it was a pretty piece of very little substance. I don't need a show to be extremely thought provoking, but I need it to make sense and to understand each character. This show was neither for me.
I honestly thought Amazing Grace was more engaging and well done than Tuck Everlasting.

I never like to wish a show any ill will, but after seeing this last night, I found it to be tedious. For me it was an embarrassment of riches, a lot of talent with little to work with. I don't know what device the chorus was supposed to be conveying, but it didn't work for me. In the dance scenes wonderful, in the other scenes, I just did not get the purpose- they were like woodland nymphs just cluttering up things, from that frozen-esque chant at the start, I wasn't a fan. Then we have the lead, I've seen better child performances and to carry a show I needed more from her. I found her inconsistent, that's all I want to say, because I realize as a child carrying a Broadway show is one hell of a task! I had two standouts, Terry Mann- who expertly chews the scenery, which isn't difficult for him, but he walks the line between character and caricature nicely. The other one was Michael Wartella, in a thankless role, but very good. My favorite part of he show was the sets and lighting, everything else I found bland or overly precious- right down to the frog at the end! The score is serviceable, but the book lacks the tension any good drama needs- there were times I wanted the spark to ignite and it just didn't. I definitely think the season has better offerings- dare I say I slightly enjoyed Disaster more, only because it wasn't trying to be something it wasn't- that's not to say I thought it was a crowning theatrical achievement. Again, I'm shocked that this is receiving the praise it has when imo, stronger pieces were mixed at best. I'm an easy please, but this didn't get me- glad I took advantage of that $19.75 ticket offer! I could write an entire thread about the ending tedious ballet, that happened so late in the evening I stopped caring.

Please keep in mind that these are just opinions, NOT facts. Everyone has their own opinion and they're always different. The thing is that you just can't please everyone. Just because you thought Show A was great and Show B was terrible, doesn't mean everyone is going to agree with you.
Well Windham said the ensemble mostly stays in the background so be he obviously hasn't seen the show.
Jeffery do you own the site? I always find that you talk down to others like you are the boss of the site, just wondered
