What commercial would do the best on Broadway?
I think the Quizno Baby. Any other ideas?

Ugghh...Next we'll be speculating what letter of the alphabet would make a good musical.

I've got a pimple on my....
Perhaps that would make a great Broadway show!
HEAD ON!! APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD!!!
Imagine them singing that over and over again.

Ooh, ooh! Vonage Theme: The Musical! All about people doing stupid things... I think it works!
Or Starbucks Doubleshot Does Broadway! That's a keeper. Oh yeah.
- Head On
- Chia Pet
- Magic Bullet infomercial (this was a thread on the OT board lol)
Yeah, I can picture the opening number for the Head On musical, tilted "Head On!" (with new and improved lyrics) :
HEAD ON! APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD!
HEAD ON! APPLY DIRECTLY TO YOUR SORE HEAD!
HEAD ON! APPLY DIRCTLY TO THE FOREHEAD!
(The cast repeats these lines in modulating keys for the duration of the song)
But in all seriousness, commcercials turned into musicals are probably not a good idea.
eBay. Christian Borle could reprise his role as eBay crooner guy!
That gum commercial with the Double Mint twins. That would probably close in 1 month.

^ The lyrics to that song in the new Doublemint commercial are so insipid. I cringe whenever the ad comes on.

I like the Doublemint comercial with the Twins that don't look like twins.
I second the Magic Bullet
Capital One, with a bunch of stone age men running around

Mandy Patinkin's cholesterol commercial. We already have the male lead.
I will only see the Mandy Patinkin Crestor musical if he goes up and down those really special escaltors and wears those oddly-fitting pants and sweaters like in the ads.
"Down with the bad! Up with the good!"
what about an herbal essence commercial!
that could be one heck of a show!
The Dell guy did a show recently, maybe we should have him reprise his role and do a show called "Dude, you're getting a Dell!"
Letter's of the day has been done by Sesame Street already.
ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch - chia!
I am actually surpised that no one has done a musical about the life of Ron Popeil (sp?).
Just think - the pocket fisherman, and all of the fun stuff that could be thrown it.
It actually could be a rags to riches story about the American dream... selling crap that no one needs and making a fortune.

Didn't they already do that with the jingles in In My Life?

WALMART!!!
at least with the older commercials, it would feature people talking about how Walmart helps them, and has changed their lives
it could be a series of songs, and monologues
and a showstopping finale complete with shopping carts and the stupid little smiley face guy
We've already got the Snapple theatre, Hilton theatre, Cadillac theatre. Do we really need the shows to product placements too?
I think y'all watch too much TV!
How about the Dunkin Donuts commercial where the mom and kids are in the car? swimming...oboe,....KARATE!!!!
Slightly off-topic but have you guys noticed the the Midas car commercials use the jingle from Bells are Ringing??
"Trust the Midas touch!"
