The number's so much better in the show. I don't know, it kind of seemed low energy. Norbert seemed a little nervous. And it was kind of funny to see his hair all slick and him looking all nice. O well. I still love him.

Jump WesternSky Jump!
I guess he forgot for a moment that they changed fancy sh*t to nice crap and CBS was jumping the gun on editing it out. Hee Hee!

Posted: 6/5/05 at 8:38pmThe singers on the Tony Telecast can never hear the orchestra because they of the size of the hall. That's why Idina Menzel was like a third of a step off key last year. I don't know why they don't crank up the monitors.

I thought he may have done that on purpose... maybe we'll find out later.
I love that Taye and Idina are in the front row. They're gorgeous!

I love how he had so much to censor he forgot it all!
In all, I really liked the number, and it makes me wish I got tickets. Do you think it would be impossible to get tickets for August?
Hmm.
Despite what I just said, I also think Norbs wasn't at his strongest, which is a shame. But I can name other shows who had years LAST year...coughWickedcough.
And you know...I LOVE the maid costumes in DRS.
Love love love.

Ah, and no sliding down the rail at the end. I think it's such a fun part of the number. I guess it wasn't safe to do it here.
