Is it possible that Catch Me if You Can is going to open for the Spring?

I think the St. James is perfect for American Idiot.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I think the St. James is much too big for American Idiot. It is like a Rent/Spring Awakening type show and should be in a smaller venue. St. James is one of the biggest theaters.

Does anyone know what's going into the Broadhurst now that hamlet is closed?

I don't remember the explanation as to why...(it has to do with St. James himself)...but I also heard that Michael Mayer and American Idiot wants the St. James Theatre.

Maybe for American Idiot, having a theater with a name so close to St. Jimmy is too tempting to pass up

Yes, but sometimes people have a third deeper layer thats the same as the first. Like pie. Dr. Horrible

The Barrymore may also be in play for spring.

Lend Me a Tenor and Come Fly with Me both have theatres, though they haven't been announced.

Lend Me a Tenor and Come Fly with Me will be taking the Music Box and Marquis, respectively.

Fela! and Memphis are going to hold on as long as possible. At this point they're both assured several Tony nominations a piece since (in addition to their overall good reviews) there's not a whole lot of other competition on the new musicals front.

Do you guys think that HAIR could possibly close in the Spring?

Hair will most likely not close by the spring.
1) They aren't doing terrible.
2) They recouped already.
3) They are making above their weekly nut.

"Come Fly With Me" hasn't made any formal confirmation.

Marquis Theatre is where its going to end up, though. I mean, Twyla Tharp has had her last two shows in Nederlander owned theatres, and if I was running publicity for the show, the idea of Frank Sinatra in the middle of Times Square would be key, and amazing.

PGenre, where do you see it announcing the Neil Simon? All I've seen is the Adelphi in London and then opening November 11th in New York, with no theatre specified. I don't doubt that it will end up there, but I think there still has been no official announcement.
