Broadway- Promises, Promises
Circle in the Square- The Miracle Worker
Cort- A View From The Bridge
Helen Hayes- Next Fall
Henry Miller's- All About Me
Hilton- Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark
Longacre- La Cage Aux Folles
Lyceum- Looped
Lunt-Fontanne- The Addams Family
Nederlander- Million Dollar Quartet
Schoenfeld- A Behanding in Spokane
Marquis - Come Fly With Me
Music Box - Lend Me A Tenor
Vacant (Spring) Theatres
Belasco (Under Renovation)
Golden
Possibly Vacant Theatres
Eugene O'Neill
Neil Simon
St. James
Possible Shows
American Idiot
Fences
LCT Production (Women on The Verge?)
I don't see The Shubert being empty any time soon. Memphis is pulling in decent numbers now and I can see them sticking around until the Tony's at least. Next 2 Normal just announced Aaron's replacement for January, so I don't see the Booth being empty, either. And the new cast of God of Carnage(Jacobs) is also pulling in nice numbers along with some good reviews.
The only other shows that could possibly close soon are Ragtime(Neil Simon), Fela!(O'Neil) & Finian's(St. James). Although both Finian's & Ragtime could be front runners for the best revival Tony which might keep the producers from closing them.

I can't see American Idiot taking up one of the bigger theatres, if it comes at all.
Its a nice thought that Finians will hold up for the Tonys - but thats 6 months away. I can't see it holding onto the St James that long. I think it will be off by March.
O'Neill is going to house Love Never Dies - unless a major hiccup in London occur.
Not sure what big show could take the St James, pitty First Wives Club wasn't good as this could have been perfect for it. If I had a wish it would be nice of they staged Follies In Concert there for Sondheims 80th

No, it isn't. Love Never Dies is going into the Neil Simon, next fall.

American Idiot wants the St. James.

Heh, I wonder if someone at playbill saw this thread and decided to make a feature.
I like our version better anyway.

"Maybe the Orphan Cycle?"
At least, according to Riedel, that seems to be out. Any other rumors re: the Golden???

Apparently the Hughie/Krapp's Last Tape double bill may transfer from the Goodman starring Brian Dennehy.

If the producers of "Orphans" can put the money together, expect to see it announced for the Neil Simon shortly. That would be my bet because there's just no way the finances would work at the Golden with that cast size and the additional costs associated with doing all 3 shows in a single day, which one can assume these producers will want to do at least once a week (plus the physical production would probably have issues too based on what's at the Signature).
As for the Golden, I've heard rumblings about the Dennehy double-bill from the Goodman but has it even opened yet? I've also heard faint rumblings about a possible last-minute London import of a small play but I don't have more details as yet.

Well, it looks as if the spring season has for the most part come together. Only two available theatres (the Golden and the Neil Simon) have no announced spring tenants. The next couple weeks should be telling on what shows will survive the winter and what won't.
