OK, tell this non New Yorker what I'm supposed to be watching? I can't find the preshow on Time Warner cable, still watching the red carpet, which is just ending on Channel 1.
I don't think I want to watch the show now...I hope the actual Xanadua performance is incredible, cause otherwise I think it's in serious trouble...Cry Baby and Xanadu seem most susceptible to post-Tony closing notices.
This is what we get for 13 performances during the live telecast...
Broadway Shows I've Seen: Hairspray, Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors (2003), The Wedding Singer, Spamalot, Riverdance, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Spring Awakening, Wicked, Legally Blonde, Phantom of the Opera, Sweet Charity (revival), Drowsy Chaperone, The Lion King, Dreamgirls(2010 Tour).
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
