This revival deserved every accolade and every bit of success it has received. It is a moving story with a score that elevates it to an almost spiritual experience. I have never been so moved the way this show has managed to move me. Soul stirring and a tour-de-force performance by Miss Cynthia Erivo at it's center.
Bravo to all involved for a wonderful run!

Bright Star, Tuck, American Psycho, Shuffle Along - these are just from earlier this year. None of them had any mention of a tour.

FYI, tickets for the final show are going quick. They've even jacked up prices since announcing its closing on Sunday(as expected). Mezzanine tickets are $120 - $225. Orchestra are now $165 - $225. Got the last $80 seat in the last row of the mezz.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Y'all...the show IS going on tour next season. Investors have been lined up, the show is being booked, and Troika is the General Manager.

I checked and did see orchestra had a few scattered seats in the back. My husband and I will be there to say farewell all the way up in row K of the rear mezz and bringing 5 friends who never saw the show and wanted to see it. The talent and the music will reach us up in the rafters and go beyond! They will be in for a wonderful afternoon of theater!

I hope it's Bre Jackson on tour. She was great when I had the pleasure to see her perform the role earlier this year!

No way she was touring with this. She's performed Celie between Broadway & West End for about 2 & 1/2 years now. I think she wants to be done playing Celie.

It's intermission at the final show now. The atmosphere is insane and electric - Jennifer Holliday got a huge standing ovation for Push da Button. Lots of famous peole are here too haha including Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton.
