I could have lived without the two young women sitting behind me early in the run, one with a big slice of cheese pizza and her friend, who had a giant burrito... Did they think they were at home with a video? Come on.

Eug,

have you heard or witnessed someone getting banned from theater much more at the SHN theaters because of distractive behaviors?

How about getting fined for taking pictures, being ejected for rowdiness, etc....

Thanks Eug - when I was in New York the usher came and yelled right in my ear (I was on the aisle) and scared the crap out of me. It was during the song after C'est Soiree La. She told 3 people to turn their cell phones off - they were either taking pictures or recording the play. Then she told a gentleman behind me who had a camera (looked like a Blackberry) on his belt under his coat to turn it off.

I've only seen Doug perform once, in the Hank/Mika track. But if Doug is leaving the Sherry Co. I wouldn't be suprised if they put him in the Vegas company, he seems like he could do it. I guess we'll find out when they announce the cast for Vegas. I remember reading a post that Lizzie put up on the JB Vegas thread that they're having open calls now and it has some other interesting info in it.

I saw Doug Crawford go on once for Nate Klau (with some truly terrible wigs) and once for Eric Gutman. I have this feeling he went on at least once for Deven May, but I could be hallucinating this.

Have any of you ever met Jarrod? What is he like? I would love to meet the whole cast. I saw the show this weekend for the first time. How long will it be here in SF?

Jarrod's incredibly nice and friendly. The whole cast is, really. I'm kind of in love with them.
This cast is here until Sept 30.

The show is scheduled to be here through the end of September.

I spoke with Jarrod briefly when he was clearly really exhausted, but he was very kind and seemed like a sweetie.

Jarrod's just adorable. The first time I met him he gave me a huge hug, I was so surprised.

Doug is not leaving Jersey Boys. I talked to both him and Taylor. Doug said he had to laugh when he read that story.

Playbill needs to fire the factchecker behind that story.

bump me!

Anybody seen the shows lately?

People should really take advantage of the $30 discount thru ticketmaster using code "thanks"!

It's $20, and with the $9 per-ticket fee and $3 processing fee for the whole thing, you're really not saving as much as you might think! Just BART fare...

Current SF Cast of Jersey Boys to Bring Four Seasons Musical to Chicago
http://www.playbill.com/news/article/108111.html

We pretty much knew this already.
Except they still say Steve Gouveia will be there - he and Michael are swapping casts, yes?

They are, although I wonder if Steve Gouveia is going to do both cities -- maybe replace Michael somewhere down the line in Chicago?
