It's basically like you're being forced into Gitmo. I wouldn't stand for it either. I might forgo the performance today myself!

What about hooting and hollering during the full frontal?
I'm guessing there will be no nudity for these added performances.

It is PBS. We are guessing they will full frontal and edit it with camera angles.

Not there yet. heading up there soon. waiting for the BF to have his coffee and wake up completely.
Are you kidding me? I'm definitely not going. It's worse than extra work on a film. You can't leave your seat, even to go to the bathroom. Can't come late, can't come early. Have to wear certain colors. Stand in the rain. the seats are upstairs, and finally, they aren't filming today. they're setting up camera angles. I guess they will be starting and stopping. What a dismal day.
"Too many rules and regulations? It's pretty standard for a TV taping. Not sure what you thought you were signing up for."
Um each to his own, toots. Have a good time. And no, it isn't standard for tv taping.
I was told that today is a rehearsal. Whatever that means.
You can't go to the bathroom for 2.5 hours? Like I said, it's basically Gitmo.
I don't see anywhere that says the seats are upstairs or that they're not filming today. The email does say that it will end no later than 5:30 so it doesn't seem like there will be stops and starts. No one is forcing you to go to a FREE taping of a Broadway show.
I have diabetes and I go to the bathroom pretty frequently.
reeread your email to see that the seats are mostly upstairs.
My direct contact with Nathan told me that they are not filming today. It will be tomorrow.
No, no one is forcing me to go to a FREE show. I don't choose to see one under those circumstances.
Like I said, Mr. Sarcasm, have a good time.
Clyde, from what I was told, today is basically a camera rehearsal. The actual filming will be done tomorrow.
I just said that twice.
Oh, sorry! LOL. I was kind of skimming while eating lunch.
Jordan, I do hope it's fun for you today.
I'm just excited that I get to see the show live. They can stop and start it a hundred times for all I care. :)

There's 5 people in line
And if anyone bothered to ACTUALLY read the email, there is a short intermission
its Tuesday, well after noon. I have yet to get an email. I'm hoping this is not a bad sign
God, that was brilliant.
Did they run straight through? (No pun intended.)

Jane, I went to a taping of Katie Couric in June. It was taped, not live. We also had to stay for additional segments for an additional show. So what was suppose to be two hours was closer to four. My seat was all the way to the end and off camera. I had to use the bathroom after the third hour of being there. At first, they told me to hold it and then they changed their minds when they assumed I was going to go off on them. So I guess my point is, some of these tapings are really strict. And I won't be going back to Katie, not because of this, but because it was boring.
Artman, that was exactly my point. After managing a theater for a few years, and doing extra work on tv and films, I know what kind of day it can be.
I was there today. No stops, great audience, was allowed to pee during intermission. Basically, I saw a Broadway show, a pretty decent play, from a good seat for free. No complaints at all.
Yeah, the "very short" intermission they mentioned went on for over 20 minutes so there was plenty of "pee time".
