I looks like Stew and Company were able to pull a song together for the Tony Awards Preview Concert because the show is listed on the BWW article about the concert. They will be performing "Mom's Song" according to the article.

I'm thrilled for them all, but especially de'Adre Aziza. I really wanted one of the supporting actresses from Passing Strange to get a nod, but didn't think it would happen. Its very deserved.
Congrats to Passing Strange on all the well deserved nominations! I was thrilled to see Stew recognized as Best Actor (which many people thought wouldn't happen), and I'm ESPECIALLY happy for de'Adre Aziza! I wasn't expecting that one. Still think they deserved a lighting nomination, but oh well.
So excited for all the Passing Strange love on the Tony nominations this morning. It's especially awesome about de'Adre Aziza... that kind of came out of nowhere... in a good way!
For those who question whether PS is award worthy....just give the show a chance. I was somewhat hesitant to see it at the Public...especially because the description made the show sound a lot like something a couple years ago that...well....ick.
So my sister and I went to our first performance....and we both felt that it deserved to be seen again. After the second performance we bought tickets for the final performance at the Public...saw it again in Central Park....then in previews....then the cast recording....and most recently two weeks ago with a friend from LA.....
I have seen Avenue Q twice, and I think I saw the original Chorus Line 2 or 3 times over many years....but there is something about PS that gets under one's skin.
My only concern now is whether the show is finding an audience or jumping the shark....I am aware of a number of society ladies who have decided to meet up in the City and all see the show in June.
De'Adre's TONY nom was such a pleasant pleasant surprise.
Congrats to the other fantastic nominations. I'm thinking about going to the show tonight..I assume people might be all hyped up from all the TONY noms.
Anybody have any more thoughts on the get together? I'd like to suggest May 25th, a Sunday, because a lot of us probably won't have to work the following day.
Frogs: Re : PS Scaryotype get together. this weekend is out, due to the NINTH AVE FOOD FEST which is going to make the neighborhood impossible to to get around in (1,000,000+ extra people), sooo.
I was thinking about the 25th. Where would you guys like to go, how much do you want to spend?, drinks only, or late lunch or dinner. How much time will you allot for this?
Ideas: Drinks a SAJU, a lovely restuarant across from the Belasco?
Southwest 44 - my nice neighborhood Italian w/ excellent Martini Bar/
I'd be fine with Cafe 123, I've always liked the food there and it's decently priced. John's Pizzeria is a good idea, especially if it ends up being more than five people and it would be a lot cheaper. I have nothing to do that day, so whenever or for however long is fine with me. I was thinking more along the lines of lunch maybe, because I'm thinking of seeing the show that day, but I'm open to anything.
