Anyone in the house tonight? If so, please post! Spike Lee (and assts) were in the house tonight, for some pre- filming, filming, and prep work, I guess. He was very nice, indeed. Filming in a couple of wks. No specific date yet.
The perf. was absolutely perfection tonight, what with Breaker back, fresh as a daisy, and the Keys/Amsterdam number was about 12 minutes long, and freakin hot, hot, hot!!! New stuff again, and a responsive aud....Stew and the crew were at their peak! I guess the (Spike L) thing has re-energized the whole thing.
Also, met a lovely young lady and her dad, who are now instant, crazy scaryotypes. The girl was sooo excited. Cute!
If Spike's there tomorrow, which I don't know, go see the show again, if the spirit moves you.
I'm going to swing by the theater before the matinee to pick up a key chain because I really have nothing better to do on my lunch break. Maybe I'll get luck and see Spike!
I finally experienced Passing Strange this past Wednesday and it was AMAZING. The energy did not leave my body until the next day. What a great, great show.
So the dates have been confirmed for the Spike Lee filming. It's been mentioned in a couple of threads, but maybe we can discuss any of us are gonna make it..perhaps.
Just got my hotel room and ticket. So I will be attending the evening performance. I'll be one of those in a Scaryotype t. So don't forget to say Hello!
I'm pretty sure I'm going to the matinee on the 19th.
