Cutielyricist- merch guy is your bf? love it! Truly is a small world on these boards. :) I don't remember who started calling merch guy 'merch guy,' but it's sorta stuck.

Ok so here's a sample lyric page from the cd booklet insert- the booklet is in color, and has photos, but the scanner at work is in black and white, so this is what you see for now, lol. Some of the lyrics to Fireworks (which is called Blackout on the cd):

Same question here...

When does merch selling take place for those of us without tickets to today's show? Also, is there really only a matinee today?

So confused. So totally NEED the soundtrack!!!

I *think* the merch booth is open during the entire show? I did not have a ticket last night- showed up at 8pm, asked if I could go in just to buy something, and was escorted in to the merch table. It's probably helpful to the staff if you don't try and walk in without a ticket during the 1/2 hr load-in though, I'm guessing. :)

It's $30 at the theatre.

Yes no Wed evening show today, because there is a Sunday evening show this week to make the 8th show.

Ok I got the CD which was amazing in and of itself BUT as I walked by the theater I saw Andrea Burns outside of the stage door and I'm never one to go up to anyone but I went up to her and congratulated her on all of the Tony noms and that I was thrilled for them, etc. She was so gracious and sweet!Then as I was about to walk away a woman comes up to me and asks me if I can say what I just said again and it turns out they were interviewing her, so I did and I got a hug from her and she was like "go get your CD"! I'm still freaking out.

Shaun!Usnavi, Krysta!Carla and Janet!Nina also caught my attention on the U/S board. I would kill to be at that show

Went and got my cd at lunch time and was dying I couldn't see the show. Janet/Nina?! I've been waiting for that one for a long time.

Cd is fantastic. Everything I thought it would be and more--and I'm a tough sell!

Its really well done !

You can listen to Disc 1, take a 15-min break, and then play Act II !! :))

EDIT: I am thinking the CD could take us to 1,000 posts by this weekend !! :))

Listening to the CD (non-stop!)-- REALLY need to see Eliseo Roman go on as Kevin !!! What a voice !!


I want to see him go on as Kevin, too. I think I might his "Piragua" a bit, though.
