After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
Joshua Henry was on as Benny tonight. Josh was my Benny the first time I saw Heights off-Bway, so I was glad to be able to see him again. The show tonight was amazing- you could feel this *energy* in the theatre, from both the audience and onstage, there was cheering and riffing and crying and it was just... amazing. The perfect last viewing before tomorrow night.
Spotted Bobby Cannavale outside during intermission. Was very amused watching some guy bum a light off of him, completely not recognizing who he was. Hee.
Just bought a ticket to see the show on July 3rd! Row G, woo! I'm taking my girlfriend and her brother to see the show, but unfortunately they won't be sitting with me 'cause of a broadway.com gift certificate.
I hope they do something special, 'cause it's when the show takes place and the last day before the 4th. Anyone think there'll be any chance? Updated On: 6/15/08 at 12:13 AM
i doubt they will, but its still cool to do that, like i remember i used to see rent on decemeber 24th (hey, I'm jewish its not like i had other plans lol) or valentines day and other times mentioned in the show.

AHHHHHH, I am crawling the walls. I want it to win Best Musical so bad. Excited to be attending the Tony rehearsal, so I get a sneak peek at how they will do 96,000. Also super stoked for Tuesday night. I have Mezz tickets, but I might do the lotto for shiggals, though I bet it will be of "WIcked" proportions.

Heard at the box office the other day that the only tix left at all (at that time) for next week, were for the Weds mat.
Everything else was sold out until the following Tues.
I didnt check Ticketmaster to verify, but thats what they were telling people. Everyone had the same idea, and wanted to be there after the Tony Awards.
Cant wait for Tues !!
Haven't seen Joshua yet, but I did notice on Friday night that Chris' voice seemed to crack a few times, so sure he wanted to rest it.
I saw the set from far away on TV but it looks great! People have said he was very horse. He doesn't really have to sing in 96,00 though so I think it'll be fine. I'm not sure if he will be at the show today. I think he should rest, I almost got tickets for today, I'm glad I didn't.
Was just at the Tony rehearsal and yes Lin sounds very horse...wonder if he's doing the regular show today?
Walked by Heights after leaving the Tony rehearsals, to check out the u/s board, and it was full-cast, no outs were listed for the matinee.
I would have prefered (**Tony performance spoiler?**) that they not cut Robin's part of 96,000, and/or that they didn't do a medley of two songs, and/or that they received an intro from a third party like other numbers got (Lily Tomlin? Adam Duritz?). But I say that as someone who has seen the show before, if the point of the Tonys is to bring in new people to theatre then the two numbers they're using are a nice sampl of the variety of music in Heights. And the end of 96,000 is still freaking fierce.
I kinda got the feeling that the way they set up the intro was Whoopi's idea. She loves this show and it was very evident at THE VIEW taping. It also gives someone (not to spoil) an extra bit of screen time and it's a cool segue-way.
