God, why couldn't this event have been after my twenty-first in August?! re: The Official Broadway Bares: Click It! Thread

Question: What show is cover boy Tommy Berklund in? I don't see any listing for him on IBDB

Sutton Foster: "This is so much fun! I never get to say c*ck!"

Daniel Reichard: "So can I still make it to Bares?"
Sutton Foster: "ABSO-F*CKIN'-C*CKIN'-LUTELY!"

Brilliance.

And Heidi Blickenstaff is a GODDESS! (As if we didn't already know.)

I went for the first time, at the 9:30. Couldn't see terribly well...when I go again I'll know to either --
A: Get there WAY earlier or
B: Spring for the seated tix.

From what I could see, I had a great time for a great cause. I was in AWE of the costume and the amount of LOVE in the room.

Sutton is hysterical as was Allison Janney.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Not all the performers are currently in Broadway shows, or have been in one to begin with.

"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

Also, a special shout-out to HOTTIE Norm Lewis, who took it ALL off!

Heidi Blickenstaff portrayed "Widget", Daniel Reichard's sex-kitten guide to the internet.

Tommy Berklund wasn't in the show.

Who knew that Norm Lewis had a nipple piercing?

Trust me, that's the only thing small on that man...

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you. Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

Still doesn't change the fact that they both look like underwear models who belong in West Hollywood.

But I do think Liff is much cuter. That smug sideways smirk on Adams is a tired expression.

Um, Liff is also an amazing dancer. I think his Astaire Award proves that. He's easily the best dancer on Broadway. You really want to send him away? re: The Official Broadway Bares: Click It! Thread

As far as costume malfunctions go, only an occasional g-string that got stuck when someone was trying to rip it off. I'm pretty sure that it was Rachelle Rak who went topless during the speech at the end, but that was intentional. She had a bet with one of the crew members for $1000 if she "showed the goods".

Maybe I didn't read well enough, but can anybody tell me why Whitney Thompson (from America's Next Top Model) was there? Is she doing something on Broadway now and I'm just totally unaware of it?

In notes-style:

- This was my (and my 4 friends) first Bares and had a blast at the 12midnight show

- Favorite routines were the World Wide Web (aka 6 naked aerialists in a rope-web) and the Fantasy Football number (couldnt take my eyes off of the stud in the #69 Jersey, aka Adam Hart)

- Had a great view just left of the center run-way

- Was totally enraptured by the head-to-toe covered in glitter (esp the blue and green) people in the final number

- Heidi was hilarious

- Allison Janney was hilarious

- Suttons hair reminded me of a very-messy Amy Winehouse

- Very briefly saw BWWers in the crowd (aka Jay, Andy, Jeff)

- The male vocal-arrangements for the final number (with Gavin) were incredible

- Mind-blown at just how many people were in it! (when they all came out for the finale and special announcements... endless amounts of flesh, hair, g-strings and glitter!)

DEFINITELY A BONER BANGING EXTRAVAGANZA
Am hell-bent on working-out all year (then getting a killer fake-tan) so I can be ON the stage next June Updated On: 6/23/09 at 05:54 PM

So glad you enjoyed it, Eug! It is such an amazing event. This was my third year and I plan on going every year from now on! I can't get that Fantasy Football number out of my head!!

Susan Blackwell backstage at Broadway Bares 19.0

My love for Susan Blackwell has exploded into the squillions. Word.

Withoutatrace then nick Adams did
exactly what he was suppose to as that was part of the concept of his number. It's a charity you hateful people. You should be ashamed of yourselfs for being negative about a charity event. And how dare you speak about someones humility that you've never had an exchange with. You kids are so frustrating.
