To add a few more recent data points, I saw both Ink and Choir Boy through TDF and was in the mezzanine both times. Great first row center seat for Ink (AA of the Premiere Circle) and row F (the last row, I think) for Choir Boy.

I have seen some Friedman performances through TDF and have been in middle orchestra center, I don't think there is much of a system just luck of the draw.

Good to know everyone, thanks! Im sure there isn't a set system but I figured with a sub house this is the closest id get to being able to know where I'm sitting before a show! Also off topic, but I find the Friedman bar to be the best set up of anything theatre I've been to in NYC. Other than the Lyric maybe but that theatre is on a completely different scale.

The thing with TDF you don't know how many tickets they have at a time. The best thing with TDF is if you see something you want you should grab it then and there. They might at some point put more up which wouldn't surprise me.

Its funny this has come up re TDF and the Friedman because I have consistently been seated middle right orchestra (Choir Boy, St Joan, INK, Little Foxes) in like almost the same exact seat. Yes I have also been up in the mezzanine, too, but I was sure that they set aside certain rows for TDF given how often I've been in the same spot
FWIW, for most productions, there really isnt a bad seat. Solid theater.

I was front center Mezz for The Children. For Choir Boy and INK I was mid Orchestra house left both times. Almost the same seat.
Also just got a ticket for Slave Play on TDF. Tried about an hour ago and even though they had 5 dates up, none had available tickets. At about 11:15 I decided to try again and got a ticket.

Darn, booked a show already for that night. But a friend is in it. Would love to have gone to this concert for her and the Phlip Glass piece. Seeing his opera in November at The Met.

If I recall correctly, I used to be able to filter for matinees only on TDF. I cannot figure out how to do this now. Please advise if you are aware of how to do this. Thanks in advance.

My Slave Play TDF seat was Rear Mezz. Row D seat 116. Perfect view, although I don't think there would be a bad view anywhere up there.
