I do understand your feelings of revulsion at the subject matter, crewdude.
However, since the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal plastered similar explicit content all over the media, Phyllis' remarks would be considered factual and accurate in relation to the committed crime. It's free speech and contains no obscene words. Phyllis is accurately, if graphically, describing the nature of the crime. The subject matter is newsworthy, evident from all the media articles.
Phyllis is also using some sarcasm to wake up Barbour's cobweb-brained supporters who are being evasive about his criminal act by, among other things, trying to name-call anyone who places the facts squarely before them.

As opposed to insinuating that people who disagree with you are either on Barbour's payroll, misogynists, or are naturally inclined to feel empathy towards sexual predators...
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

No, my brain works just fine. Yours makes me wonder.

nomdeplume - It is not the subject matter that is repulsive. It is this phyllis person's actual words that a violation of the terms of use of this website.
No 'obscene words'?? Really? Well, trust me, even on a news story you cannot say "..stuck his adult dick in ..." It's street, it's trash, it's beneath the standards of the board. Don't waste your time trying to defend her or her post...it is simply and blatantly WRONG. She blatantly violated the terms of the website. Her post and her account should be removed.
You should also examine the Constitution before you erroneously throw around the phrase "freedom of speech." The term ONLY refers to use of free speech without retaliation from the government. It does not apply to this website.
Findingnamo - I get your humor. Also, normally I'm the last person that would worry "about the children". But in this instance - such a blatant disregard for the accepted rules of this website and the fact that it has remained up for 2 days is ludicrous! The phrase would not be allowed in any other subject post. It does not matter what the topic of the thread is. It does not matter how you feel about the topic. Her phrase and words are inappropriate and offensive and in violation of the website.
BWW's message board has an internal censor. I'm unable to call anyone a ****ing ****face dip**** ****wad, so I'm guessing that if what I typed went through, it's okay.
And maybe it's just time to let this thread go, people.
Crewdude's pearl-clutching is hilarious, though. He's right. My use of an expression with "dick" and "mouth" in it is truly the most horrible thing to ever be seen on this message board.
Just in case this thread DOES go on, I've updated the subject line so that anyone who can't be bothered to read the WHOLE thing won't feel compelled to make invalid defenses.
The underlying issue is his calling for your removal. If it was just about that post and the poor innocent adorable (and whatever other adjectives Nancy Grace might use) children, he would have just urged the removal of the post.
I gather, crewdude, that you have never seen Cole Porter's Kiss Me Kate in performance, nor listened to the lyrics in "Tom, Dick or Harry" within it.
"Dick" is considered only "vulgar" in the dictionary, unlike, say the "f" word, crewdude. Look it up, do your homework. And even the dictionary mentions its use is often associated with humor, as Phyllis' was in having to bluntly spell it out for those in blissful ignorance.
since the thread is locked now, postscript to the below
Stop following me around the website like a pet poodle, Namo. You're a bore. If you bother Christ with such garbage, you'd better do your homework first. Your karma is already shot.
