I agree with both of you. I really like Autumn, but I think Lauren is better for the role.

I actually would rather see her as Vicki. Maybe getting cut every night might humble her a bit. Also I really don't think she can pull off Val. Val is supposed to be sarcastic and kind of a bitch. Bailey comes off snooty and cartoonish. I don't think she has the acting chops especially the comedic timing that is needed for Val. I can see her being Maggie though.

Yes, because you certainly don't need any acting chops to play Maggie.

I happened to catch this for the first time on Monday. Dear god, it's even worse than the GREASE show.

I don't think she has the ability to play Val. I think she might be able to play Maggie with some practice but it's more of a sweet role that doesn't really need comedic timing.

I'm seriously in love with Autumn's voice and presence. To the extent that I would very likely see a show just to see her perform. Whether she wins or not, I'm glad that the show has undoubtedly brought her to Telsey's attention.

Autumn's vocal performance of "Legally Blonde" might've been too classically-influenced for some, but to my ears, she sounded so much better than the others. Maybe not Elle as Laura Bell Bundy plays her, but still a valid performance.

I think you put your finger on why I don't enjoy Autumn's singing as much as others. I feel she overdoes the belting sometimes. Maybe others enjoy it.

Her singing wasn't classically-influenced, it was just a mix belt as opposed to Lauren's pretty much sheer chest belt.

Her singing was great in that audition, but I still think that Lauren is a stronger performer overall. Plus, like I said, I just don't think that Autumn is right for Elle. Not that I would be upset if she won, mind you.
