'Hell's Kitchen' will be going into the Shubert after 'Some Like It Hot' closes.
ANOTHER new musical this season! What an exciting year this is for new shows.......
I’m already feeling exhausted on behalf of Michael Greif!

So...what is Greif working on right now?

Hell's Kitchen (now in rehearsals at the Public), with Days of Wine & Roses and The Notebook opening on Broadway in 2024.

Thanks. So, through my brilliant deductive reasoning, I have concluded that Hell's Kitchen, with an original score by Alicia Keys, is the show in question. Here's hoping it gets great reviews at the Public; and that, if it does, AK gets excited enough to do further works. God knows we need more theatre composers.

The info we have about it so far states it is not entirely an original score but a hybrid of Keys' catalogue and new songs.
So he’s competing with himself for best new musical essentially cause I’d say all 3 are contenders.
Let’s see if any of these many scoops Betty22 has been posting lately actually come to pass before treating them as accurate.
Not denying anything said here, but if Hell’s Kitchen hasn’t even opened at the Public yet, isn’t it a bit early to know if it’ll even transfer at all? Let alone that soon and already have a theatre lined up?
I for one am predicting Suffs at the Shubert.

Considering the entire run at The Public is already sold out, it makes sense that the producers would be looking for a new home for it after its run there ends. And I imagine Broadway producers would be very interested in mounting a show that's selling that well.
Anyone know who the commercial producers for “Hell’s Kitchen” are?

Smash to the Shubert. Boop possibly to the James depending on how well Spamalot sells.

Spamalot is a limited engagement so it doesn't matter how well it sells.

As the Producer Cheekily announced - "A Limited engagement - Probably". Meaning if it continues to sell and pay its bills they'll continue to extend. Personally, I don't think it goes past January..

Smash target was 24/25. No way Shubert leaves their flagship empty for that long.

Smash is planned for the '24-25 season not next spring
Yeah I don’t think we see Smash cold open on Broadway. It needs to garner up some buzz.

Does your therapist know you just type things on the internet without any sort of knowledge?
I’ve been hearing Betty Boop wants Schubert and Suffs wants Nederlander if Shucked closes.
