I have a vague memory of the Morgan James tweet but have forgotten about the community response to it. Could someone offer a refresher on that?

Also, on Instagram in the comments, Amber Iman tagged Tim Hughes to drag him and he posted a response (which seems, eh) Would post if I knew how to do photos

"..sorry for the confusion. Truly never meant any hate for Jordan! He sounds fantastic, he is fantastic, and I know he is fantastic in the show. My story was attempting to be about the expectation of dance in our industry when it comes to gender. Women are still expected to be incredible dancers, and new leading roles are being written that align with that expectation, but a song and dance man role is a fading art, and leading male roles no longer require the same dance experience that men in an ensemble still require. Why is that? In context (and in hindsight), the clip is not the best example of my attempted point because the role doesn’t have to be a song and dance man! But just the clip, and the way the number is staged, for me, did frustrate me that expectations seem different now."
I love that Amber called Tim out on Playbill's IG, and after his embarrassing above. I'm thrilled even his response is getting pushback.

Amber Iman responds, doubling down, on Tim's "response" to his own words :
@timothyhughes "There was never any confusion. Some thoughts are better left in group chats and therapist couches. You’re an artist. You know how tough this business is, how hard people are working to make ends meet. Someone mentioned that his character states that he has “two left feet” when he’s not playing the game…. Those are what we call “the given circumstances”. Let’s watch how we speak to, over, and about each other. You should apologize to him and the community."

Daaaaaamn Amber Iman is not mincing words. Yeah, he should have apologized, but at this point it would just look forced.

Nope, still up under that post (from both Amber and Tim). Just gotta scroll to find them.
Amber’s intro line was *chef’s kiss*:
“I would be a hater like @TimothyHughes if I didn’t sound half as good as this.”

Astonishingly, he's now been cast in the St Ann's Warehouse ANNA CHRISTIE.
Guess they couldn't find any real "actors" and had to go with a dancer who can "sorta act"??

At least Mare Winningham is also in the cast!

Why is it astonishing? His comment was stupid but not career-ending stupid, plus he worked with both Kail and Hoggett on Sweeney.

I thought Kail's work on Sweeney was just awful. It was like an H&M revival of Sweeney.

He knows them. They needed a tall ensemble guy with a beard. Makes it less exciting to have to watch him.

He knows them. They needed a tall ensemble guy for “Guy in the saloon” & “Guy on the coal barge” with a beard. Makes it less exciting having to watch though .
