Has anyone received an acceptance yet? I didn't get a rejection email this weekend, and am ANXIOUSLY awaiting a response today... trying not to get my hopes up, but am glad I haven't heard yet, I guess.
CoCo - I'm in the same boat as you - I haven't received any e-mail yet. I'm not getting my hopes up and assuming I made it, but it's good to see someone else who hasn't gotten a response because I was worried my application might have been lost somewhere in cyberspace (and maybe they didn't consider it at all :P).
I'm 20, but there's no time that they ever ask for your age. They ask for your basic contact information, you get an email telling you whether you got in or not, and later they send you an info sheet you have to print out and bring with you. If you show up and look young enough to play Billy Elliot, that might give them pause, but as far as I know there's no official age limit.

CoCo2 and seymour krelborn: did you go through tvaudience.tv? I haven't received any email rejecting me or accepting me.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
OK to answer questions- I'm 24, but never had to give my age, so that probably had no effect.
i didn't go through tvaudiences.tv because I emailed the American Theatre Wing directly and they put me in contact with the general managers of the Tony Awards who put me in the database so I could apply and then got accepted. ** so excited!!
Anyone who has done this before who has suggestions??
I got accepted too! I called the production office directly and they gave me the email address to email. I work for a Broadway production company and included this information in my email to the producers. So I'm not sure if that made any difference. It may be completely random, though.
Actually, Jersey Girl2, when I called them in February, they said nothing had been set up regarding the seat-filling process and to call back in April. I did, and they still did not have any info. So I contacted them a third time in April, and they finally gave me an e-mail.

Hey accepted seat fillers! I am so excited about this opportunity!! I would love to connect with some people who are doing this pre-show so we can really make a time of it. Private message me and we can exchange contact info if you're interested :)
I got my email too!! I'm so pumped! I have a question for anyone else who did it last year - I know you have to move quick, so I was thinking of wearing formal flats instead of heels...but I'm not all that familiar with black tie dress codes and the like. Would something like these be okay? http://bit.ly/b1pNSL
I know that's a dumb question that I will likely get some snark for, but I'm too excited to care.
