Did the Twitter Boy actually see Moore's show or is he criticizing it on hearsay?
Forced to close the date it announced in May that it was closing? That's like saying The Apprentice was forced to end on its season finale. Bless him. I'm sure his boy toy Harvey Levin needed him to tweet to distract everyone from Kathy Grffin's video.
He obviously doesn’t understand “limited engagement”, but hopefully his own presidency will be forced to close.
Yeah, the "forced to close" thing is ludicrous. But credit where credit is due: the show did do pretty poorly at the box office, and got mixed reviews. Obviously Trump is a grade-A idiot, but he's not ENTIRELY wrong in this instance.

It had the lowest average ticket price on Broadway for all the time periods I looked. It did pathetically. The numbers don't lie.
If I were a theater owner, I wouldn't want to have such a show in my theater, if I had a chance to make a big profit with something else. Every night they were giving out tons and tons of comp tickets.

lol
No doubt it performed horribly, but I just miss a president who concerned himself with more pressing matters and would be xble to comprehend the difference between being forced to close and limited engagement.

Oh, please please please, sooner rather than later!!!
This kinda **** really makes me physically sick. The same week he makes a useless symbolic gesture of tackling opioid crisis without making any real policy change, he chooses to attack Michael Moore? From his golf course, nonetheless. Monday's indictment news couldn't come sooner. I know it won't be, but I hope Stephen Miller is the first to go.

I mean, his presidency has gotten WAY worse reviews than Terms of my Surrender....

The one show Twitter Boy produced was called PARIS IS OUT. It was an open ended run and lasted a mere 96 performances.

I will defer to those with more knowledge of the finances of one-man-performance Broadway limited engagements, but I was under the impression that the show was - given its presumably low costs - a satisfactory venture in terms of dollars and cents. But this is outside my area of expertise.
And Moore got what he wanted all along - a Twitter spat with Trump.

Didn't I read along that Moore made sure the show had more affordable seats than the typical Broadway show? He didn't go into this limited run hoping to make lots of cash. But he made an impact on the season--doing things that a typical Broadway performer doesn't do (take his entire audience out for food after).
Yes, of course Moore wants a response from Trump. It means he's being heard and vindicated. People may trash Moore for using his 1st Amendment rights and speaking out against a wannabe dictator, but ultimately at the end of the day Moore is the one doing his job and Trump isn't. There is a major crisis going on in Puerto Rico and Trump is whining/tweeting about private citizens expressing their points of view about his awful presidency.
And let's not forget: during the election season Moore was the one who said Trump would win because Clinton was failing to get enough votes in key areas. People laughed at his Cassandra moment. So his opinion is worth taking into count. His voice is extremely important, and for all you Trump fans wishing people would be silent or show undying loyalty to your person (oh, I'm so sorry, Trump gets offended if you call him person and not man), then step back and think about your stance.
Trump knows what he's doing. Many of his supporters don't know anything about Broadway let alone if a show is running as a limited engagement. So he re-writes the narrative and proclaims the show bombed and had to close early and they believe it because they don't know any better.

Exactly, That is the tragedy of our times-Trump is unconcerned about reaching beyond his base of support. He's managed to convince them that all criticism, no matter how objjective and provable, is false and deceitful. Everything except Fox and Breitbart is fake news.
Trump should talk to Betsy DeVos about what a real massive flop is... like Scandalous.

Trump knows what a limited engagement is, he just couldn't believe that there would be so many low classed people who would want to see this nonsense. Trump is King !!! Stock Market up BIG ever since he got elected. Wall street loves this guy cause they KNOW what he is capable of doing. He is the MAN !!! For all of you who disagree and think its cool to bash him, I have one word for you when you get a major setback in your life " KARMA "

Of course he could believe it: that's how HE got elected.
We don't bash him to be cool, we bash him because he's a sorry example of a human being.

Trump's enablers have oddly been giving him a pass for decades, allowing him to screw over, not pay, lie to people. And oddly he doesn't have an ounce of charisma. He must have not gotten the memo that he is now a Public Servant. He works for us. He answers to us. We don't work for him. He's running the presidency like a bad reality show.

I suspect that Trump knows what a limited engagement is, but I doubt that he knows that this show is a limited engagement, because that might involve reading paragraph or two. The man is appallingly ignorant about virtually anything that is not in his own personal orbit. There are basically two ways to build a great fortune in this country: 1) A great idea coupled with hard work, and 2) Steamrolling over everyone in your path, completely unencumbered by conscience. Guess which category Trump falls into. Trump built his wealth by lying, cheating, stealing, and then lying some more. The man has no conscience. His only core belief is Donald Trump. Wall Street knows that he's their kind of guy, and they'll drink from that well until it's dry. I said when he was running that he was perhaps the most reprehensible character in the history of American politics. People I said that to are now coming back to me and apologizing for calling that hyperbole.
And by the way, stevie3, nice troll. But I was happy to play. I'll seize any opportunity to call out this dirtbag for what he is.
