^oh that's an unfortunate poster. She looks like a female Voldemort, with no nose and just slits for nostrils.
I am hoping Six takes it after their ART run.

Six would be great there.
Agreed. A great space for SIX.
I guess we can start speculating on this. Any insider info about what’s next? A summer run of something perhaps?
Someone said the UK version of Next to Normal may occupy that space in 2025. I definitely think a limited run of something will take the space before Spring 2025.
Someone said "Swept Away" was eyeing the Booth? Not sure if that's true at all.

Let’s get this to finally come in lol
With its runaway success at Second Stage, I remember someone on another thread alluding to a commercial transfer of APPROPRIATE in order to boost up its Tony chances for the play itself and for Sarah Paulson

That wouldn't make much sense if Tonys are the goal. The commercial producers won't be eligible to win since they weren't involved on Opening Night; there's a strong Revival contender in PURLIE (which will also be closed by Tony time); the last time a 2nd Stage show did a commercial transfer it was a financial failure (Take Me Out) so unless the transfer happened IMMEDIATELY after the 2ST run that could damage word of mouth/buzz.

The commercial producers might not get a physical Tony Award—but they would reap the financial rewards (if any) of a commercial transfer of APPROPRIATE —and that’s all that really matters.
Also, since APPROPRIATE will almost certainly be considered a New Play, it wouldn’t be in competition with PURLIE.
Appropriate premiered in 2013, played Off-Broadway in 2014, and has been licensed regionally in the subsequent years. If it isn't deemed a Revival, that would be a major change of precedent for the Tonys.

That was me, who said "Appropriate" was looking at the possibility of transferring. To the best of my knowledge that's still something being looked into.

And yet HERE LIES LOVE is competing as a new musical with a similar pedigree (Two off Broadway runs, a London run, and a Seattle production all within 4 years of each other)
They're quite different trajectories.
Appropriate has had 15+ regional productions following its Off-Broadway run and its road to Broadway was similar to revivals like Lobby Hero, Blackbird, and Three Tall Women. HLL's eligibility has already been discussed ad nauseum (as have Harmony's and Gutenberg's), but that show was never licensed: its sole regional production was done in conjunction with the authors and first-class rightsholders. (Even though those rightsholders changed multiple times through the years.)
On the bright side, BJJ could still win a Tony via the "classics rule", and Purlie certainly isn't unbeatable.

This board is literally for the discussion of news and speculation. Broadway Flash isn't doing anything wrong. You are the one who needs to chill.

I never said Flash was doing anything wrong, but nothing has been announced yet or any speculation of what's coming. Just don't think there's a point in bumping this and other threads at the same time unless something has come up.
