Sean Hayes mentions on this week’s episode of Smartless that Goodnight, Oscar, the play he just did in Chicago is coming to Broadway.

Would put my money on Goodnight, Oscar for the Fall limited run, &Juliet for the Spring.

How have so many people missed the KIMBERLY AKIMBO Booth Theatre announcement from before Memorial Day?

I keep reading Kimberly Akimbo for the Music Box, but the Booth is a perfect fit for an intimate musical such as this. I hope they keep it.

Suffs maybe? Although that might be too far out, considering Shaina has said she wants to work more on it and maybe do an out of town run before bringing it to Broadway. I'm guessing the earliest it would arrive on Broadway would be spring 2023, and the Music Box probably wouldn't wait that long to bring a new show in.

Yes my assumption is that something is being announced for the Music Box within the next 24 hours before the advance edition of Sunday's NYT starts printing & being distributed to theatre offices. Same goes for the Lunt. I don't know if "pushed out" is the word –– the show has run its course and there are shows waiting for theaters.

The Broadhurst is getting “Beautiful Noise.” “& Juliet” already has a theater, and it’s none of the ones mentioned in this thread.

& Juliet is currently playing London’s Shaftesbury Theatre, which has over 1400 seats.


I can’t really imagine Eva Price bringing this one to a bigger Broadway house, but it all depends on availability.
